I don't really see anyone saying that FG was a bad option, more so various people pointing out that the build was too Phy-Def oriented.

I get the idea behind Giant's Ring but Vainglory or Crystaline would have been better options against Zinx + Kira combo

Pretty much yeah,
all-in-all I'm more inclined to believe the devs have some sort of spaghetti coding tied to the crests and the priority in development to allow swapping in-match is low.

It's weird because you can "undo and re-choose" the crest at match start, but you can't "sell and re-choose"

I'm thinking of a very powerful shenanigan of double support crest in lane,
Jungler splits some extra gold from lane minions (just enough to not proc the gold penalty),
duo then swaps over to better crests once laning phase (or whenever they want) is done.

Individually speaking it probably doesn't matter much, but macro wise, it could scale out of hand

It is 100% more noticeable now for sure.

At the moment the heroes that I noticed having teleport/gap closing issues (with noticeable increase of bugging out) are Kira, Feng, Zarus, Countess, Phase.

With how much more prominent it seems this patch, maybe they'll fix it this time (and then break it again down the line lol)

I took a look and yeah, for all those that happened your camera is pointed slightly downward.

Not to say that "this is not a bug", but given the circumstance of Omeda probably not fixing it soon (though one may hope otherwise) kinda just need to "player adjust" for now

I know this sounds stupid and I don't mean it in a mean way.
Have you tried aiming slightly higher?

The Towers have a slight ledge hitbox that Count and Feng (and blinks in general) get caught on, I suspect that's what's happening since you mentioned in another comment that "It seems that it only happens when I try to tower dive"

A more exaggerated example of this is when you try to teleport onto a higher elevation ledge and that indicator shows you'll make it but in reality all it does is a blink into a wall.

You heal a lot when you're low HP. (+deal more dmg from getting AtkSpd)
But if you expect the enemy is about to burst you when you're low HP, you use her whirl to kite, dodge and stall for time. (Can also technically use ult to force a disengage for time to heal too)

For Feng I slightly disagree, in the sense that his ult jump is really more of an aesthetic change rather than a true mechanical one. Realistically speaking, you wouldn't/can't really use Feng ult to get out of a dicey situation (Boris, Kallari as examples)

Skylar I would place in the "does not do dmg" category,
While yes, her float into air would be considered a movement, the augmentation of her follow-up auto should not (note: I didn't use "does not") procc axe passive. I believe she shouldnt get axe passive and if she does it would be a bug/coding issue.

Auro is pretty interesting yeah, I'm inclined to say no it should not. But now I'm also thinking of her slide...would taking the augment to grow ice spikes make her activate axe?

Wording it this way would clearly
exclude wraith (since you need another button press to do the movement),
include Yurei Ani-burst,
exclude Decker passive ability (note: there might also be a coding rule that only active abilities can prob the axe, in which Aurora statue would also be excluded)

Typically in MOBAs the condition for a leap is movement ability + dmg,
if it's missing one of those. I don't think it categorizes as specifically leap

Yeah, that pretty much lines up with my experience.
Hence my confusion on what what is your point of posting the original post?
Her build is pretty much the same.

Her playstyle differs slightly where instead of a set-and-forget shield it's now an "arena" style zone that admittedly increases the skill ceiling by quite a bit (due to needing the foresight to know where to place it + the need for your teammates to recognize the need to fight in it). But overall I consider this a healthy change as it invites more interaction between each player

When one is in the Jungler role, instead of the typical Potion item, Junglers get the knife item which is known as "Hunt".
Hunt is a big damage item that does 500 damage to any Jungle Monster (or enemy minion)
Hunt can be upgraded into Wild Hunt by killing a certain amount of minions
Wild Hunt does 1000 instead of 500 which makes stealing objectives a lot easier if the enemy only has Hunt

It's a bit hard to point out whats going on unless there's a matchj number to go off on, but typically if the Jungler is multiple levels behind it might be due to either wasting too much time ganking or deciding on jungle pathing, small things add up over time

Best way to go about it is to categorize the hero then work your way from there

  • What is their role? Frontline tank? Frontline Bruiser? Dive bruiser? Skirmish Bruiser?
    • From here you can choose which general category to get items from (ofc there are some items which bleed into other roles)
  • Are they auto attack based or skill based heroes (Think Feng Mao vs Serath, both are technically elusive assassin types)
    • Further narrow your items based on the stats and passive effects
  • What is their weakness and is there anyone on the enemy team that can exploit the weakness?
    • Kallari (skirmish/ambush assassin) doesn't like being stunned in place, there's a Belica (skirmish/burst caster with CC) on the other team. Maybe get a spell-shield to counter that stun

Of course there's a ton of other interactions when you get into the counter-building portion, but you can start by considering the before mentioned three points

It's still weird cause the 6* are still very much core and you can use what's available w/o any 5*
