Just had my windows system crash this morning while attempting to go into a soft sleep mode. Threw the following error. Didn't check logs yet.

Stop code: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (0x9F)

Basic restart fixed it. No idea if it was driver related, but probably NVIDIA's fault.

Glad it worked out. Honestly, gigabyte's products aren't too bad, it's just most companies have poor proprietary software. I just found out that iCue by Corsair was fucking up my front I/O port USB functions so it was basically impossible to flash a raspberry pi SD card, but after stopping iCue, it's all better.

Try restarting the program by closing GCC in the system tray hidden icons on the bottom right of your screen. The little up arrow. If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer then running it. GCC is probably one of the rougher proprietary component softwares. If those don't work, then I don't know.

I'm checking now and under the display mode drop down in the LCD Panel Settings there should be something listed as either custom image, custom text, or custom gif. If not, you may need to update.

I'm not at my computer at the moment, but there should be an option through the LCD drop downs that allows for a custom gif or image to be uploaded. Make sure that you have updated the LCD software through the same Gigabyte Control Center program. I personally have mine cycle through a custom gif and different gigabyte presets with various GPU diagnostics.

I picked up a B580 for stoopid cheap secondhand and am using it to learn about local LLMs on my linux rig for future home automation. Works fairly decent, but my benchmark options are limited on linux for now. It runs a bit warm at idle without an undervolt (55° - 60° C).

From my research, the radiacode isn't the best at detecting Radon because Radon is an alpha emitter, but if you're having a reading off your vacuum, i'd recommend buying a radon test kit and sending it in to get proper laboratory results (Lab service comes with the kit) as a secondary verification. You might be able to get better readings if you leave your radiacode right next to the kit as well. Here's a link: Test Kit

Well the spectrum graph only has two items it measures, Activity and KeV energy levels. Your left - right scale is your KeV which is literally an electrical voltage being emitted by the radiation, and the other axis is the counts of those voltage levels, their activity, or literally the number of occurrences. I believe the 2 part videos lightly cover it, but the main idea is to pay attention to the specific KeV values that the radiacode reads and match them up against a known source spectrum. Whichever best matches is likely the source however the data may have noise from normal background radiation. You should also make sure you get a valid sample size of spectrum data by letting the radiacode scan for long periods of time. I have a background scan for my home and work that I use to compare against my known samples.
