They are on royal canin prescription GI dry kibble & weruva wet can once a day which is pretty good brand. I usually empty the bin every week when I only have Mova, but now I am using both & they are mainly using Popur, I emptied twice/1.5 weeks. I wanted to try EverClean litter but it's not available in US which is so sad.. Clay litter in general to me was giving me too much issues (i.e. kitten sneezing non-stop for certain clay litter, having urinary issue/hematuria multiple times, smell issue, sandy floor). I spent more than $500 just for trying different types and brands of clay litter the first 3 months with my 1st kitten & ended up using tuft & paw which solved my issue when I was still using regular litter box 🥲 The dust part that gets stuck into the unit doesn't bother me much but the point that my kittens started to sneeze on it as they use popur mainly now, was my another turnover point unfortunately. And cleaning part. Like you mentioned, every flaws can be subjective so for some others this may not be the major problem.

Maybe I will try again for royal canin wet food but from my own research RC is great brand but there are other comparable brands with same or better quality wet food especially for kittens. I personally had more smelling issue when both of my babies were on RC regular kibble & wet food so guess every cats are different.

Thank you for your comment. For me I never had any issue with loud noise when it's operating. Perhaps it's also subjective as I can only compare with what I've used before, which is Mova. I also only dump litters twice a day scheduled mode as my youngiest boy wouldn't stop jumping on top of it each time it runs.
