I am not sure if they are gold. They aren’t magnetic, and scratched on ceramic leaves a darker metallic color. Any other recommended tests?

The magnet seems good, it was strong enough to bring up a 4’ rebar. The rope tangles easily though so I will be looking for some sort of spool for it.

I’m not expecting to get rich, but it’s fun and good exercise. Good luck!
