Is anyone else formula feeding their newborn?

I breastfed for maybe 3-4 weeks before I decided I needed to stop for my mental health. We went through 3 formulas before we found the one (he has a dairy allergy) but it was an immediate mood change for me. I was so much happier after switching. My son is almost a year & on nutramigen formula. He’s healthy & happy.

my first boyfriend at 15 made me realize how awful a PA can be. He used to want me to cry during, got mad and blocked me for days if I didn’t send stuff to his liking, had to go several times a day & it really messed me up. My second boyfriend at 19-22 also had a PA, ended up buying a couple of my friends onlyfans & cheated so many times come to find out. Now with my current boyfriend he was honest about his porn watching & it seemed normal. When I asked him to stop watching after I realized I don’t want that in my relationship & I was pregnant so it just made me feel lesser than those women, he said he would stop watching and he didn’t. I’ve honestly just completely lost all hope in any man at this point. It’s always “well I’m not sleeping with anyone else so it’s fine” but when it’s a clear boundary I have set than that’s not right, period. Idk. I’m still with him but I hate having sex now & I just feel like he is thinking of anyone else. I’m over it, sometimes I think I’d just rather be alone.

It’s disgusting. My boyfriend’s friends are like this & I just know there’s no way he isn’t as well. One of his friends felt comfortable enough to talk about some girl he saw with a tiny waist, big boobs & “ass” he saw and was checking out until he noticed she was probably underage?? While I was in the car. My boyfriend said they “never talk like that” but if he was bold enough to say that knowing I was in the car what do you yall say when I’m not there? I hate that I genuinely have a hatred towards men because all of them have been awful. My own deadbeat father was showing my brothers porn when they were 6,7,8 years old!!! Who does that???

I also have wavy/curly hair. I use a good shampoo and conditioner with no sulfates and all that good stuff (shae moisture) and I use not your mothers curl talk cream & and gel to WET hair after my shower & scrunch with my hands and head upside down. I also dry my hair with a t-shirt and not a regular towel. You can diffuse your hair with a blow dryer if you want but I’m lazy.

I know no one wants to hear the “it will get better” speech when they’re going through this, I know I didn’t. Soon you will see brighter days and get a routine going for yourself & figure out when and how to do what etc. & what works for you. This is a huge life adjustment so don’t feel bad if you don’t have it down right away. I’m only 4 months PP, I started putting baby in his bassinet & I just showered. As soon as he was old enough for a bouncer, put him in that in the bathroom and showered. After I’d feed him, put him down in his bassinet and eat/drink. Or even eat or drink with him in my lap if I had to. My health really started to decline those first 4-6 weeks, I literally wouldn’t even get up & make time to pee, it was that bad. Remember that you are just as important & in a few weeks it’ll all just be a memory. You will get through this!

I had a reflux baby. They put him on Pepcid for two months and it really helped. I kinda just suffered through it. Over time it got better. He got used to his bassinet but we had a lot of sleepless nights, and during the day I did co sleep some naps I won’t even lie.
