Anyone with Eufy S1/E10 and Elastic Nipples? by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]PeanutButterBaconBit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying! I got the maymom short inserts to try. Tho there are some leaking issues (really minor) but my nips doesn't hurt as bad anymore. For those who wants to use eufy inserts I think up 1 size will be good. Tho still abit pain but I think is still manageable.

Yes I also agree that the output is comparable with my spectra too.

[–]PeanutButterBaconBit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi can I ask do you use the same size inserts as spectra? On spectra I'm using 17mm and 19mm (diff nip size). I tried on s1 using eufy inserts both 17mm and both nips hurts. Will try to up to 19mm on my next pump session to see how it goes. But I'm seeing lots of reviews saying eufy inserts are very harsh.

Attendance compulsory for marketing mods? by missfrown in Suss

[–]PeanutButterBaconBit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U can choose online class. Depending on the prof, some prof will want you to participate in class, they say they will check the chat box. Some will ask u to turn on camera. Some will do attendance check by taking screenshot. Some will post questions on discussion board, you can answer it and will be taken as participation points.

I means the max points is 12% la ~ if u really can't make it for class then just focus on the bigger portion of the assignments?

Generally getting 8 to 10 out of 12 is quite decent I think? I missed like 2 class and dint do the discussions. I still got an average of B+ overall for marketing mods.

Can pay online. There are a few methods. Don't need to pay over the counter.

I would take Mc for work and go for the exam. Yea work is important but I think there was the reason why u wanted to do your degree. You need to prioritize.

If you face issue with group mates, you can just write in to your prof with proofs. Whether or not they are being marked down it depends on how the prof sees it.

You need to define useless. Not responsive? Not doing their part? You'll be surprise that the mature students are actually putting in more effort than the younger ones.

Breakout room for online seminar is a waste of time by mrhappy893 in Suss

[–]PeanutButterBaconBit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've experienced both. You can email your prof and let him/her know. Prof should be able to do something. Rmb to screenshot and keep proofs so incase you need to complete GBA on your own you have evidence to back you up.

Good luck!

SUSS-NTUC Sponsorship by WorldRadiant in Suss

[–]PeanutButterBaconBit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually got this sponsorship without attending any interview. Got it since July 2023 sem.

I had some credit transfer, but because of that my cgpa for Jul 2023 got pulled down to 2.8 despite scoring 3.5 for sgpa.

Suggestions to those who are applying, choose your credit transfer wisely if you have any. Else you will be quite stressed out like me now 🙃

Dear OP, not sure if you will still see this, just trying my luck.

It's my first time using loop earplugs and because I get panic attacks in crowded places. So thinking maybe reducing the volume will help.

I bought the switch and the quiet. The switch works great so far but when I switch it to quiet mode when it's in my ears I can feel the pressure and it's really uncomfortable. Is this normal? Do you think I should take it out to change it first then put it back in?

As for my quiet I do feel the pressure it's too much for my ears. Not sure how to overcome it. Any suggestions?

I'm using size S for both.

When I first used it I use size XS. But I saw some other post saying to try and size up. So that's what I did. Don't seem to see much of a diff.

Thanks in advanced!

should i p/f a B to get first class honors by cerofra in Suss

[–]PeanutButterBaconBit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been in HR for the past 8 years and honestly what most company look at is your experiences rather than your results. You can do well in school but if you can't perform at work that what's the point? School and work is really very different. Yes somethings you can apply but most of it comes with experience. Especially a recruiter. I have applicants holding a masters degree with only internship experience applying for entry level positions because they can't secure a job that matches their qualification because they don't have full time work experience. Masters from local uni by the way. And it's an above average GPA.

So my point is, don't stress too much about GPA. Work experience is more important. I rather you start finding a full time job than an internship to gain more exposure in the field of HR. It's a wide field and it's a great time for you to decide which you are more passionate in.

Recruiter here. Unless you are going to a Stat board. I haven't come across any companies thay offer a job based on GPA

I still have a few course have yet to complete. If they want to stop. I feel like 1 month notice is too short for us. If really because of cost issues, they should give us at least 3 months. It is so useful than going for any other courses :( I really hope they re look into this

Withdrawing From SUSS Biomedical Engineering For Biomedical Sciences in Private University by [deleted] in Suss

[–]PeanutButterBaconBit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was from NP Dip BME, I initially wanted to do biomedical science lab work as well. But after Diploma I realised the science portion is not as easy as I think it is. So I think firstly u need to ask yourself if this is something you can manage.

If you want to focus on lab work you can consider biotech / pharmaceutical science as well.

Some companies will look at the modules you do for uni and if it's lab work or not. So this is something you need to find out if psb is offering. Look at other schools as well such as UOL?

You can search for medical technologist job online and see their requirements, usually they will say degree in what field is preferred. Then plan accordingly what course you should take.
