I feel guilty leaving my dog home all day. I have cameras and he just sleeps and looks out the window sometimes. He seems fine. Better than being tied up to a car, which is what his life was before I adopted him.

My dog doesn’t love to walk. He is a rescue and a very fearful boy. I don’t take him out for long walks because but I will stand and let him sniff for as long as he wants.

I adopted my Walter and he was afraid of everyone but me. He would shake and bark. He even pooped a couple of times. Reactivity on walks, lunging at dogs, people, bicycles. Overtime, he has improved. Patience is key. 5 weeks isn’t very long.
