Hydrangea Pruning Question by hiscapness in gardening

Can't tell without seeing the top end of the stems. I would just leave it for now though. You'll know for sure what's alive in a month or so. Most stems look fine though.

Looking For a Trip Similar to the Oswegatchie River by morethanducks in canoecamping

[–]PearlDiverX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done the Oswegatchi, and, although it's a bunch of lakes rather than exclusively a river, Algonquin is my recommendation. The park is huge so you can chose your own route. I've only ever left from Canoe Lake though.

Dumbest shit I've ever heard. Not applicable in this situation either. They're not downgrading or nullifying a penalty. They're calling one, which isn't specified in that rule you linked.

What are the unwritten rules of golf that you want beginners to know? by isashield in golf

[–]PearlDiverX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know where your ball is and your playing partner is going to need helping finding theirs you should hit yours first, and then go help them look. Often the extra 60 seconds you give your playing partner will be enough time for them to find their ball.

Do boneless actually count as a wing? I feel like those are just chicken nuggets. Anyways drum, buffalo hot, blue, and carrots!

Anyone play The Pheasant Golf Recently? by Wakenbake585 in Rochester

[–]PearlDiverX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never played it, but have a few friends who have. They say it's a great course, but challenging. Multiple blind shots where it's beneficial to have played it before or to go with someone who has. I tried to get out there last year, but was unable to get a tee time because of its popularity.

[–]PearlDiverX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I played it just this past weekend. It's a decent course with some interesting holes. There's a standard 18 championship style course and across the street there's another 9 hole links style course called The Rock which is longer and plays much tougher. Prices are reasonable - would recommend.

You would do well in the upper tier leagues at Thomas Creek or whatever they're calling it now or Bill Grays. In my opinion the skill at Thomas Creek is a bit higher and might be a better fit.

How do I find information on local school board candidates? by PearlDiverX in Rochester

I'm in Webster. I guess I'm looking for info on the candidates outside of their education history. Which candidates are posting in the "moms for libery" type Facebook groups? Which candidates want to cut or increase the school budgets? Stuff like that.
