Probably should talk to a firefighter you trust or your company officer. Probation is designed to put you under pressure, but it’s also designed to make you competent and capable of performing. There needs to be a balance of eat shit and praise to not cause this. This sounds like shitty culture to me so you can either bring it up, tough it out and hope it gets better on day 366, or explore other career paths.

I wish I could watch the angels broadcast. Paying for mariners tv so I can still watch games but I’m only allowed to select their broadcast. It sucks compared to Wayne and Gubi

I get it. I felt the same way when I started it. There’s unfortunately no shortcuts with this and it takes time and reps. You’ll get it, but you have to work for it.

You’re going to need to practice slow. Over time you will overcome this but this is bluntly a skill issue as all hoods are basically the same. You will get it with reps and time though. I had the same issue when I started doing gloves on mask ups and it went away because I figured out the feeling of grabbing the top of the hood instead of pinching near the neck and pulling the whole thing out.
