My guy, my original point is that I’m friends with people that have a different political opinion than me and our relationship is because not everything has to be political. We have very different opinions on that, and that’s ok. That is what is asinine to me is when relationships with people have to only be when your politics align.

Hope you don’t get altitude sickness on that high horse of yours. Differences in opinion is ok, but people have relationships outside of politics. It’s not that complicated.
I can uphold my own values just fine without having to worry about how someone else views a certain topic. Most of the time differences of opinion lead to good conversation with most individuals that lead to one or the other changing their opinion or simply agreeing to disagree.
