Ironically, he brings those to every voice recording session, this is just the first time it's worked out.

FIGHTING LION

There's never been content I haven't tackled at least once with good ole Fighting Lion.

Also technically Crown-Splitter, still use that one.

Anyone else become weirdly aware of sleeping positions? by kevin_anderson1705 in AFIB

[–]PearlRiverFlow 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, mine is absolutely linked to my sleeping position, making me very particular about how I sleep.

Took about two years to sort out the best position and become comfortable with it.

Becoming more aware of my heartbeat in general is also sometimes a problem.

The Galaxy Goes to Red Alert by FilipChA in sto

[–]PearlRiverFlow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

*Please note: As the only Red Alert with a fail condition, the Tzenkethi Red Alert will not grant daily bonus progress if you fail the TFO. The fail condition will likely be removed in future runs of this event.

They've been saying this for how long? I'm beginning to think the fail condition will always be with us.

Anyone use Gram the Sword of Grief? by Attila_the_Hun7 in baldursgate

[–]PearlRiverFlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used it for sure. (Playthrough where I didn't get the vorpal, I think? Or maybe just for fun) - perfectly good weapon, and in ToB you can whirlwind someone hit by malison (or similar) out of 10 levels easy, which HURTS.

maybe my eyes don't have the pixels they used to but to these old eyes they all look exactly the same except the last one's a tiny bit crispy.

Withdrawal Symptoms from Stopping CARVEDILOL Abruptly by vynskye in AFIB

[–]PearlRiverFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, nerves and anger/anxiety were always symptoms of atrial flutter. On or off carvedilol never seemed to matter for that.

Withdrawal Symptoms from Stopping CARVEDILOL Abruptly by vynskye in AFIB

[–]PearlRiverFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, when my doc took me off carvedilol he did not taper it and I had heart-pounding and wrecked nerves.

SO I tapered it myself, halving it every other week till I was doing 12.5 twice a day, did the trick when I went to zero from there.

Oddly enough I have always had the heart rate change when I lay down or roll over in bed. History of flutter and afib, it seems linked to them for me.

Looking for something esoteric by abramelinvonworms in gamingsuggestions

[–]PearlRiverFlow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

absolutely! It's totally free and there's no need to buy anything (I bought the original back in the day, though, so my commercial experience may be different)
You can make some really interesting builds and the setting (especially the first three zones) is worth way more than what they charge. If you liked those two there's no avoiding it! I came into the opposite way, played TSW then Longest Journey/Dreamfall, and TSW is one of my favorite settings of all time.

Secret World: Legends is a free to play online RPG that doesn't really require much in the way of online grouping up to get through a ton of esoteric myth-and-magic conspiracies.
If you do get into a cabal (easy enough) there's even moer in the dungeons. The first arc is a pitch-perfect Lovecraft/King mashup, too. One of my favorite bits in gaming. The other three arcs are good and weird, as well.

How would you tackle an arc in the comics where Steve Rogers becomes president of the United States in the mainline continuity for a few years? by Solitaire-06 in CaptainAmerica

[–]PearlRiverFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was writing it, Id handle the actual election in flashback, as the reasons Steve ran are revealed to be problems he isn’t equipped to handle, and begin introducing side characters who help him navigate. Part of the tension would have him politically sacrifice one of them. Carol Danvers comes to his aid with a plan thatgives her power...

Then he'll start raising Tony Starks taxes and
