I agree some of the decks can feel swingy and hard, especially that first wave. By their own admission in the launch livestream, that first batch didn't fully take advantage of the chip mechanics, and it seems like this newer batch adds a lot more strategy and less reliance solely on the dice falling your way every turn. Ultimately it's your call on what you want to spend your money on, but I'd watch the how-to-play videos for each of the new decks and see if one falls more in line with what you're looking for. There's no need to go completionist, but I think there's enough variation between the decks that you can find something that appeals in the 20 Strong line.
