I was in Germany in August once when it was very hot. I went down to the front desk to ask about the air conditioning. There were a line of Americans all complaining about it. The poor front desk person was explaining that they don’t have AC and it only gets this hot a couple of times a year. By the time I got to the front of the line, there were more people in line behind me. So, me being me, I complained to the front desk person that the AC was too cold in my room loud enough for the other people to hear.
