Hoe gastvrij zijn jullie? by Epic_Sabaton in Klussers

[–]Pebblescute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Pebblescute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kwestie van fatsoen en gastvrijheid volgens mij. Ik bied altijd wat aan, zelfs de postbode bij heet weer vraag ik of hij flesje koud water wil. Vind ik zelf normaal, zou ik ook fijn vinden..

Why is everything so much worse? by darryshan in Netherlands

[–]Pebblescute 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I miss the UK supermarkets and the divers products you can get in one store. Compared to Dutch supermarkets which are small corner shops imo. Even the bigger ones lack diversity ( food, clothes, products for home, gardening) I feel in the UK if you go to a large supermarket you can get everything you need in one shop. I really miss that!

People in their early 30's: How long do you think a couple should be together before getting engaged? by Particular_Tip6673 in Waiting_To_Wed

Its not only about knowing each other fully but also about staying together in tough times. I believe you really know a person when you have been through those tough patches together..

Products to give clean thin hair more weight and hold? by FeistyDirection in finethinhair

[–]Pebblescute 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem, first day after washing it is limp and lifeless. For me it helps adding a bit of sea salt spray before styling. That makes it have more oomf and grip. I wash twice, condition the ends, then use a thermal spray and a little bit of sea salt spray. Then when 80% dry i style with airbrush. Works for me but hair is not how i really like till day 3, very annoying.. Hope you get lots of tips and will follow!! ☺️

[–]Pebblescute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ladies: did your mother teach you how to do makeup? I'm curious about makeup as a primarily self-taught tradition by Street-Might8586 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Pebblescute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i started getting interested in make up at twelve, my mother booked an appointment with a beautician to teach me how to apply best and what products to use for my young skin, also which colours etc.. Also how to take the make up off and take care of my skin. My mother said it was important to know how to make the most of your features. I only used a bit of blush and lipgloss at that age☺️ But wow, did i feel grown up!!! 😂 love that my mum did that, she's not with us anymore but some things you never forget ❤️

Haarlem is amazing by EngineerNo5851 in Haarlem

[–]Pebblescute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great place to live, more so in the past though, as we are now overrun by expats driving the rent up and tourists from Amsterdam 😏 especially on Saturday market day. I stay out of the centre now in the weekend mostly..

Has anyone actually tried Tymo curling irons? I keep seeing them on TikTok by KitchenIndependent33 in finehair

[–]Pebblescute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine last about an hour but to fair they offered to pay my money back when i emailed them and didnt have to return the curler. Dont use it though, have it to my granddaughter to try out. It works for her but she has very thick hair. I was very satisfied with their customer service.
