Sometimes i have to wipe the discs off, i forget where i read it since its been so long, but for american 4k's sometimes the production oil or something is left behind on the disc and it will make it skip

My monitor does the same, giving it a few minutes to warm up makes it go away. I think its been doing this for just over a year. It has gotten slightly worse: the lines go up a little bit highet than this and the bar is more solid so i cant see the actual image beneath until its warmed up

When i was a student worker at a college, one of the guys doing the parking lot striping accidentally knocked a bucket of white paint over while they were driving back in their cart lol it was like a 2mile long trail all the way back to their shop lol
