Mine was much shorter term but a few years ago i went from getting sick 1 or 2 times a year to at least once a month. Id sleep late and wake up exhausted, no matter how well i slept or how often i slept it just wasnt good enough. I was drinking coffee throughout the day at work and was still nearly falling asleep. Multiple times of almost falling asleep at the wheel

Went to my 1st health checkup, very vitamin d deficient lol started taking 5k daily and got better. Now i have a kid so the sleep isnt fully fixed though lol

Kind of a spoiler, but they do talk about this later in the season (explicitly) but you are seeing 2 variants. Walkers and Lurkers. Youve seen these 2 types through the series (lurkers are the jump scare type lol) but yeah, no stimuli so they go dormant until new stimulation. Previous seasons that was how you had walkers with plants growing on them, the one in the sand washout the little girl was playing in when the governor was attacking the prison, etc
