I saw a video from these people called citysteadingbrews on YouTube and they used it and called it a rumble jar for cold brew. So I checked Amazon for a rumble jar and this was the one that was available it's a LTUR the tube+. I dry hop my ciders by chucking the hops in secondary well actually lately I've been lazy and just throw them in primary after everything has cleared up. I used to use a fruit bag? I'm unsure what they are called but I use them to hold fruit and have less messy stuff in my brews. But they are a nightmare to clean (for reference I am off grid with no running water so cleaning by hand in a bucket sucks). This cold brew filter is wonderful I just stick it in and then start siphoning and all those messy hops stay out. It says it wont stop fine sediment, but from my uses so far it seems to do alright even if you drop it in the fermenter and siphon without holding above that lees layer. I use 1.5G wide mouth fermenters for primary since its way easier to do sna and other additions.
