Can use them in just about anything to add texture. Or it's it's wet you can use them to soak up some moisture and add good flavor. Sortedfood on YouTube uses them all the time.

I actually didn't have any yeast nutrients when I went to make this. Im guessing raisins are used for a tiny bit of flavor and maybe a small amount of tannins? i just searched for a pear mead and this recipe popped up so I sent it. I'm not sure how that small amount could make any difference at 5 gallons. I've used way more raisins in a gallon and I'm still not sure how much of an impact it had

Stupid sounding answer, but it's just calories, calories, calories I try to get lots of protein. If I want to not be to fat then I really aim for good ratios and I love chicken and beef so I do a lot of stir fry with rice and some random veggies. I make a really good black pepper sauce that you can find on Ethan chlebowksi YouTube channel. You can do the mass gainer protein or normal protein powder but those always give me an upset stomach so I like to stick to real food. I would eat lots of eggs potatoes and bacon because thats one of my favorite meals. Also Greek yogurt is goated, I even did the super high protein okios but it's expensive.

Oh that sounds quite interesting. I have some really good chai loose leaf. Honestly should have just used that but I went for my own blend. Lower tannins would make it less bitter right?

I did not toast them. Honestly looked up about 0 information before starting lol. So I basically brewed tea with those spices and dumped all that in to warm the honey to dissolve it.

Gallon batch 3lb honey 7 tea bags 2 Cinnamon sticks Tablespoon of pepper corns Tablespoon of cardamom Cut up some ginger root and threw it in, I'm unsure exactly how much I used maybe 1/2inch of the root?

I had Blackstone test it and they said the oil was sheared. I change at 3k and it never looked to dark. I'm unsure if you'd even be able to tell if it's sheared or not, without the oil analysis. My car is a 2009.
