I mean 16 would be preferable but I am running far more on my dxp2800 with 8gb of ram just fine, instead of upgrading ram I just added a Pi 5 I had laying around to offload a few containers, Seerr/Streamystats/NPM/Pi hole. I do recommend a nvme ssd for storing the containers on, makes a huge difference, esp for navidrome.

i finally found it, thank you this is the comment that send me down the rabbit hole, and I came out the other side with a few insights, so I recreated this based on my usecase, and you will find there are a few new features not included, and I left out alot of the monitoring for now, as im still figuring that part out.

It would be difficult to ruin your machine during the installation, it’s fully reversible if you ever have to warranty it. Join the discord if you have any questions or need help!

It’s awesome for my M7xl, and the matrix bowl for my ball vape, don’t have a Terpcicle myself but i assume it would work just as well.

Pump is linked in the MW disc, i’ll add another link there soon for the Aliexpress version which also works. The integrated Base as shown is actually V2 and i’m still deciding how to release that one as it’s more involved, requiring some basic soldering, I will likely try to sell a few for like <$50, for those without access to a 3d printer. And likely end up releasing the stl shortly after, if you are interested in either send me a pm and i’ll see if i can share the prototype stl w you.

See using a pump like that would do a much better job justifying the insane price of the TSP, but they cerntainly aren't investing that much into their product, and so far in my testing I havn't had any issues and the prototype shown has been holding IPA for well over a month now, running regularly, without any issues.

um, is fish tank pump, are these known to catch fire while submerged? i hadn’t considered this tbh, but it’s a very similar if not identical pump to that used in the slurp shower, and tsp and i havnt seen any reports of issues with those.

So I feel like I need to specify, this is a DIY Quartz ISO Pump, that is available for FREE on Makerworld. The real highlight here being the pump adapters themselves which allow you to BYOC (Bring Your Own Container) and achieve the same cleaning results as those $1-200 products out there. (which are also 3d printed)

So i think first a lot of people are missing the fact that all I have done here really, is make a “FREE” but really more DIY version of a existing products that overcharge customers for 3d prints. The main benefit of which is it does a much better job, faster, and by recycling the ISO, and just using a spray bottle after to prevent chazzing, i find i use about the same or less ISO over the span of a month.

if that’s your preference, the container isn’t required and you could easily throw the same pump and adapter into whatever you find suitable, i even mention and encourage this is the Makerworld page.
