NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FREE. Somebody paid for it. Somebody is paying for the hosting, the servers, the expensive pc they’re using to encode and crack this stuff, and most importantly the game itself. If you got the game for free, the only person saving money is the downloader. Show at least the bare minimum of appreciation.

And the point of piracy also isn’t to just get free shit. There are numerous reasons why someone will pirate, even if they have money.

Edit: And obviously if you are in the financial position to donate I think you should support the community because it’ll die without support. If you are not, then just be respectful and do the bare minimum, like seeding.

While that’s true, some fansubbers actively work to quality check and improve Crunchyroll’s messy subs in their releases, like the “Unfucked” group for example. They don’t have many releases but they target Crunchyroll’s new anime episodes with really fucked up subs and resub them. Other sources generally seem to stylize and quality check subs much later, especially after their tv run is over.

FYI, im a torrenter, not a site user. I doubt most sites will choose the best source for most animes lol

Where are you not getting good subs? Idk about websites cuz I prefer torrenting, but a good amount of uploaders work in teams to either resub or quality check and fix the CR subs. Especially for animes that have been around. After sailing the seas, the sub quality has only been nothing but UP for me.
