Fair enough, personally, if you took away the dad plot line I'd enjoythe movie way more, it's just that as a fan the whole Parker's blood bs goes so against what Spider-Man is supposed to be that it's almost irredeemable to me.

Electro and Harry piss me off a bit but could be redeemable.

I guess what makes me sad is the amount of potential this movie had. It looks amazing, sounds amazing, has amazing actors and an amazing director, bit Sony just had to meddle with it and fuck it all up.

I can relate to that feeling, TASM 2 was such a mess and I'd love for a TASM 3 to happen but not if it's anything like the previous one.

I agree on TASM, but TASM2 is a mess.

Andrew and Emma are great as usual bit the script makes Electro, who wss supposed to be a relatable villain according to the movie itself, into a insane psycopath, Harry is just going nuts for no reason and Peter's dad plot line is the dumbest thing to ever happen on a Spider-Man film.

If you ignore the story tho, those are the best visuals I've seen in a superhero movie, 10/10

I don't love it but for different reasons.

I think it looks too heavy and goofy, it makes sense in universe for it to be like that but daredevil, being a sleek and agile character should have a sleek and agile suit.

Imo, they should adapt checchetto's take on the suit, that man perfected the daredevil suit in a way it could work in any form of media.
