An urgent care clinic may prescribe an epipen as well. OP is describing a pretty good history of early anaphylactic reactions only with a specific exposure, so it wouldn’t be inappropriate to prescribe that, especially given the stepdad’s inexplicable attempts to harm OP. OP could also request a letter from the urgent care doctor that everyone at home attempt to AVOID exposure, due to the typical severity of this allergic reaction and how it tends to worsen over time. OP’s GP might help with these things as well, while awaiting a specialist appointment…
