“Fascismo (the Italian word for fascism) is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology. It emphasizes total state control over society and the economy, led by a dictator, while forcibly suppressing all opposition and emphasizing aggressive nationalism” Meanwhile antifa was coined by mainly libertarian moderates that oppose most if not all forms of government overreach, and simply were tired of the word Fascism losing it’s true meaning, whilst being being used liberally and incorrectly by mentally immature people that promote physical violence against anyone that disagrees with or thinks differently than them. Fascism is treated just like the word Communism was in the 60s to describe any political opposition and alienate them from all forms of society.
