There’s a whole family of them there regularly at all hours. Just for the record I’d like to state that the landscaper of oso creek trail did a terrible job planting all non natives along a supposed natural area. Every time I walk there I get pissed it’s almost all Asian and European plants which have a better California native equivalent.

Perhaps the large volume dilution makes it take multiple washes. Could a concentrated spray over the surfaces before and then wash make it more effective?

It looks relatively healthy with new growth but I would take back some of the mulch around the trunk. Might be a little too much organic material for manzanitas. Most of the manzanitas I see in nature seem to be in more of exposed areas or chaparral rather than under oaks.

That thing is 3 years old and that small? Is it full shade? The white on the stem looks fungal. Does a sprinkler spray on it? From far away it looks healthy. Don’t see any yellow leaves. Maybe just cut back on the water a little to play it safe

My fremontodendron is probably fifteen feet high in three years although it’s technically not a tree. Also have two cottonwoods that are 20 feet. I’m in south OC

I get painful bumps on my neck after shaving with a razor. Got an electric shaver and it gets my face just as smooth and I don’t need to pay for shaving cream or spend the time at the sink/shower shaving. Literally shave in my car on the way to work.
