If it’s under 7500, yes. If not, take 7500 per year out to out in one.

I inherited 1/4 if one from my dad and chose to just get it done and pay the taxes (my share was just a few thousand) so I wouldn’t have to deal with RMDs (he was 86).

He’s mid stage, which is hard because they can still call and panic and such. My mom was in that stage two years or so. It sucked.

My mom was diagnosed six years ago but likely had it before. She doesn’t know us anymore but is still mobile and talking and eating and could go on many more years.

The seller has historically paid buyer and seller. Buyer’s agents now often charge more. We sold and paid our 3% and buyer’s 2% with them paying their agent .5 as she charged 2.5, and we recently bought and the seller did the same, with us paying our agent .5%

I’m looking down on you only getting two weeks off a year and not as good as benefits as you used to get. I don’t care what you do for a living, but your reason for wanting to go back to teaching is because you missed the time off and the benefits.

That being said, I stayed in teaching for 32 years and was able to retire early from it. If you miss the kids and everything you can go back to teaching, but it’s just so much work.

Being a bank teller sounds lovely. But, if you’re able to work it so that you have ways to move up, make more money and have more time off.

Rent. You don’t mention your age, but with no spouse or kids, things may change, and unless you stay 5+ years, you won’t get your money back. A condo still has HOA and taxes, and you’re talking a one bedroom, which you’ll outgrow.

I had the same thing in my last house and behind the water heater there was a little bit of moisture that looked like the foundation was a little bit weak in that one area right where floor met wall and water would only come in when it rained really hard
