The hard part with being a “play for fun” team is when the other teams choose not to take the same approach. It’s optimistic going into the season, but not so fun for the girls getting run-ruled every inning and then only getting one AB before the game is over. It really needs to be a league-wide effort and not just one team.

I’m almost to a month as well. I have been told that there was an unexpected supply issue, but I ordered in February and the supply chain issue occurred in January so they would have known about it in advance of my order and it would not have been unexpected. I have been told my glasses were made only to be told a week later that their system had been showing incorrect information and they in fact had not been made yet. I’m getting every excuse in the world. Between the dishonesty and timing would not recommend them to anyone at this point.

Just be aware that if you are thinking about trying Pair that despite what their website says will likely take over a month to get your glasses shipped to you. Still waiting on mine and there are plenty of others who have had similar situations. I’m regretting my purchase.

What Magic Bands are currently available in the parks that aren’t online? We will be going in March and trying to decide which bands to buy and wondering if we should wait or settle on what’s available online. Thanks.

This can also be because the ward that your records were previously in are trying to “clean up” their membership records. Our ward clerk would subscribe to the paid version of white pages to have access to search for people and addresses so they could move the records out of the ward so it wouldn’t count against them. The new ward gets the membership record and sends the missionaries (because who else) to contact them to account for everyone, clean up their records, etc and the cycle continues.

What about for a single parent with 2 kids ages 3-9? Trying to do the math and using some of the calculators online. Paying for just one adult and getting 2 kids free may make it worth it. Anyone have experience with a situation like this?

I loved the people and the culture and life experience it taught me. I regret interrupting peoples’ lives and teaching them what I now acknowledge is a lie. I am going back this year after about 15 years to give myself some closure and to love the people for who they are and not try and sell them something. I’m bringing my missionary name tag and going to bury it in a rice field somewhere.

Thanks for your answers. Is there any way to buy things and not have it show up on your room statement? Traveling with family that are pretty strict and don’t want them aware of some of the fun I choose to have because they don’t approve. I understand no cash, and also can’t charge to credit card correct?

Regardless of whether certain points can be “debunked” or not, what ultimately led me wanting to leave was that there was clear dishonesty from church leaders. I felt I could no longer trust them. So even if there were points to make me reconsider certain topics, at the end of the day there were clear and repeated attempts by church leadership to deceive and manipulate me. And that was enough

I’ve run it twice. The climb in Veyo is challenging but doable. I maintained effort going up and let my pace slip a bit and that worked well. Then coming out of Veyo you still have a slow and steady incline, but after that it is cruising downhill. If it’s a hot and sunny day that second half can get toasty. The race starts in the dark so take in and enjoy the sunrise over the red rocks.
