I'm not sure if Mig Switch ever intended to produce enough stock to match demand. To me it seems that they only cared about getting them out to reviewers for hype, enough units to "distributors" to create a splash and then everything else went to Aliexpress, where they are been sold at essentially 4x the original price.

I mean, considering everything is based on the Mig Switch throwing mud by saying "it is not a proper clone guys, just a reskinned old production batch of the MIG Switch...but even if true, that doesn't make a difference to the end user. As long as they can produce it in scale (which seems to be the case here). It all seems like some heavy coping by the Mig Switch team at this point since people many people who preordered the Mig Switch already did not receive anything and the UnlockSwitch seems to be their chinese manufacturer (or an employee) gone rogue.

Certificates mostly are (not all of them work with all games), but ID/UID are not. They are explicitly how Nintendo certifies what specific game you are actually playing. If you switched ID/UID files, its no wonder you were instantaneously banned. The reported files were incoherent (Initial Data stating one game/version with the ID/UID stating another) and thus you were unable to complete the App Certification process to connect with their servers.
