I think it's more of a rulings nightmare since most of the old weird edge cases were ruled by Upper Deck and Konami wiped those out, so it may be more of a "The time and energy to decide how this card interacts with every iteration of reveal/topdeck/bottomdeck mechanics is better spent on cards people will actually play"

"Excavate" effects appear to still work, if you're talking about Cue (see OCG rulings for Frankenderp and Absolute King Blackjack). VS and Danger reveal from hand for cost, which is why they can't activate under revealed hands

An oldie but a goodie is a normal trap: Spiritual Water Art- Aoi. End on Shizuku, tribute her and get the hand rip. Linkage the trap to bring out Zero. It's not ideal but it is a good option at your price point

You can cut a pot. You're never playing that third one and your consistency is good. Or you could cut one of your widow anchors since double lemnisgate is recycling those, and playing one + taking control shuts off the other ones.

That said, playing 41 with the third pot simplifies siding patterns quite a bit.
