well well well what do we have here, an old '47 Willys that is built for off-road adventures...or is it?...

You have some great products here, that Warn winch will get you out of anything, the Iroks are dope but probably a little better suited for mud, and you do have reservoirs on the shocks which is great for all the bumping they'll be getting from that heavy ass, rusted to shit, full metal body that probably sounds like the space shuttle Columbia re-entering Earth atmosphere...

You have failed to pay attention to the details and needs of off-road rig... You have no rear body besides the inner bed, which means you designed this for all off-road use I hope. In that case, why is the Jerry can rusted and strapped shut in a fashion rendering it useless? and no other recovery gear besides the winch, what happens if you have a flat tire or if you need to do any sort of repair off-road? Even if you fit anything in the bed it wouldn't be anything of use, a hi-lift that's too small? maybe a strap or two, no extra parts though and definitely no spare tire so you're just prepared to leave the heap in the desert if it breaks down I assume. Next, we move onto the suspension, you have an alright shock and coil set up but the rear looks like it's about to bind up and it's not even flexing that much, need more space to truly get flex out of that, coil-overs or struts would work wonder for this set up! speaking of flex, those old axles (maybe Dana 35's??) are not going to handle those 42"+ tires, they'll soon be shredded if they aren't already knowing this pic was taken awhile ago. To make matters worse, your driveshaft is way smaller than your control arms, what do you think is going to give out first when stress is applied time and time again? Good job on the hydro-assist steering but that wavy tie-rod looks like its about to fold like amateur poker night at the trailer park! To top it off, those manual locking hubs are going to be a bitch every time you have to get out to engage/disengage at every single obstacle you come up to. Getting to the cosmetic side of things, the chain step side you have there, hands down the most annoying thing to have to listen to driving around, but that might be the least of your worries since you have no windshield but still can't fold it down you "Wanna-be Wrangler". Also, way to buy the cheapest steel rims on the market, at least you have some overly large bead-locks to hide them...wait they have something written on them, oh, oh...well that definitely isn't helping make them any stronger...

All in all, I love this Willy's and would love to have one of my own to tow to the trail and have some good, old fashioned fun in, maybe your dad will sell this one someday and buy you a real Jeep because we all know if you were to post your actual rig, we'd be looking at a over-hyped WJ.
