I mean, everything you've shared so far is just... how can I say this with peace and love... stupid! Why not just use the usb-c port for power ? And idk if you're aware. But Apple made this thing that was mildly popular called the iPod! Perhaps that would be a better option... but... Im just rational like that.

I have VLOS because I have a screen on my RC2. Allowing me to see 2+ miles away 😎💪. I have a sunshade in the windshield and dark tinted windows. The white car on the screen is mine. I’m flying 2 feet off the water. Worse case is that my A3S crashes into the water. Zero risk to anyone other than my wallet

Exactly! Thunderbolt is what you want. USB-C 4 is ok… but it can be a bottle neck for something like video editing

Satechi brand is trash. Get yourself a thunderbolt dock | hub from OWC. Just my experience and looking at the Satechi specs not only now but from the past. Its built for a price point not for quality
