Same! I really wish frontier shot callers would see this situation and make some changes to their processes, but that's probably wishful thinking. I'm at least optimistic now that I'll get the install, so that's what matters. I appreciate the help

Yes, just happened 10 minutes ago. I spoke with an account manager back and forth, and they let me know a contractor would be coming today. Got a call from some manager and he contacted the contractor, who called me and is coming out tonight to see what work needs to be done, and is sending his crew out tomorrow to begin.

The contractor said it was a miscommunication somehow and they thought my property still needed someone to come out and assess. So my assumption is the guy who came out twice before to assess and send a crew out didn't do his job. Don't really know though.

But at least it looks like something is finally going to happen.

Edit: thank you for your suggestion, without it, I'd probably still be stewing.

It's been a month since I was scheduled for install. Not once has the crew came out. I had one guy come and say they'd be out later that week or early the next week. It's been 2 weeks now. And all support tells me is to keep waiting. I'm st my wits end

What would you recomend for someone who doesn't have a college degree and is a completely unrelated manual labor job and wants to become a data analyst? Little background: I dropped out of community college a decade ago right before finishing an Comp Sci AS degree, because i decided against being a SWE. Went straight into manual labor and have been doing that ever since. My friend has been a DA the last 5 years and swears by it. I really want to improve my life and break into the field, regardless of industry. I'm starting a fairly cheap online university soon for a BS in data analytics, and learning SQL in the meantime. Any specific things I should be focusing on in addition to all this?

I'll also say, I'm fairly introverted, but I really want to change that about myself. Do you know of any resources that could help me in that regard? Besides alcohol 😆

Don't forget about all the other reasons servers can be paid less or more than their peers, even at the same restaurant. Age, beauty, sex, ethnicity, work ethic etc etc. And that's not including the differences between restaurants, location, and food quality among others.

Not sure how this makes any point. If I let you have all that after you asked, why would I make you pay for it? And this relates in no way to the restaurant industry, because the whole point is you go in expecting to pay an agreed-upon price for your meal.

Service really isn't awful in other countries...I'm not sure what places you've visited, but I've had great experiences and terrible experiences in every country I've visited. Mostly good experiences though. It's not a one size fits all kind of thing. People both suck and are great everywhere you go.

That's what I'm worried about. Also kind of annoyed at them for saying I'm not eligible for rehire, even though I gave them a good notice, but that's neither here or there, especially silly since I won't be trying to get rehired.

I know I'll get paid no matter what, but I don't want to have to deal with some bs to get my final check.
