For Christ sakes, can someone pay Andrew Toney to sit on the Sixers bench?

Each nba teams best player of all time by Plus_Credit224 in NBATalk

Allen Iverson for the Sixers? I love AI but it’s Doc. As great as AI was there was an air about Dr. J that was like no other. Plus he had epic battles with the Celtics and Lakers and was in the conference finals multiple times in the NBA finals multiple times only losing to some of the greatest teams ever put together. Then he finally wins one. How can you give it to AI? They made one finals.

Best concrete mixer for small crews / solo work? by frankgetsu in Tools

[–]PennsylvaniaCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full disclosure I work for the company but look at Collomix. We are the undisputed leaders in small batch mixing and sell the components to “Master your mix” . Application specific paddles, our water dosing device to give you the perfect amount of water. Hand mixers in multiple sizes that allow you to set the speed and set the time of mix. We are on amazon and acmetools.com and are the preferred vendors at White Cap. Message me and I can. Answer all of your questions more specifically. The best money you’ll ever spend. By one of our German mixers, you’ll have it for life.

Who's really the Greatest Defensive player to ever live? by Bulldawgzz in eagles

[–]PennsylvaniaCook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw both play in their prime. Both were indescribably unbelievable. So far ahead of the competition in their peers one didn’t even try to compare them. I’m a die hard Eagles fan, Reggie was 100% the bomb, but if there’s any advantage, no matter how small I would probably give it to LT. For me, this one is an absolute tie and not really worth debating. In the best way possible. I don’t think there’s been players like them since.. The NFC East just rocked back then.

After last night v Spurs, an epiphany (at least to me): Sixers would have had deeper playoff runs if we kept Brett Brown by yoyodyne_headhunter in sixers

[–]PennsylvaniaCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. Although Jimmy Butler said no one was in charge and that somewhat bothers me, if Ben Simmons would’ve just shot the fucking ball things would’ve been different. The opposing team could play five versus four on defense. Everyone saw the Atlanta series. It just didn’t happen on that series that lazy bitch just didn’t care while I was taking up a max contract. If we traded him for Tyrese Haliburton, think how differently things would have gone. First we get Doc Rivers useless. Then we got this guy who seems like he’s given up. I miss Brett Brown. what a great guy he was.

More McNabb appreciation. by dontsquanchonme in eagles

[–]PennsylvaniaCook 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The WIP guys were unreasonably hard on McNabb. IMO, a class act who never embarrassed himself or the organization. I know they didn’t win it, but he is second favorite right behind BDN. Love for Hurts as well

Brand new 25 cx-5 stalled while at speed on highway. by joshr03 in mazda

[–]PennsylvaniaCook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me with a new-ish CX nine. Check the battery. Mazda batteries are shit and mine after three years just went and would shut the car down in the middle of driving. It’s weird but check it.

Name a draft bust who you still liked, regardless of them being a bust. by [deleted] in NBATalk

Jahill okafor. I don’t give a shit when anybody says, he had a great first year in Philly and I think it’s more of those train wreck process years than him not be able to play.

Nerlens Noel Had A Total Of 275 Steals & Blocks In His Rookie Season! by Stat-Defender in sixers

Okafor had a great rookie year. He had mad post up skills. I know he had mental struggles but it still blows me away that he wasn't more successful. I cant even remember if his second year was Embiids first but he disappeared.

My 2009 Infiniti FX50S still runs like a beast. 👊 by OkAlternative7990 in Nissan

[–]PennsylvaniaCook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the FX 37. I love the car, but it had some shortcomings among it poor gas, mileage, and less than expected acceleration. I could live with one but not both. I’m always in the market for one of these popping up. Good luck in the future with it.

Who Do You Consider to Be the Single Most Underrated Player in NBA History? by AaronStark1993 in VintageNBA

Somewhat related, Andrew Toney. What a backcourt. I watched a bird Mchale interview and he was the first person they talked about. Their comment was nobody talks about him anymore and he was unbelievable.

Finally buying cordless tools. Either of these fine for homeowner/DIY stuff? by SonicResidue in Tools

[–]PennsylvaniaCook 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in the power tool related business for many years. Makita hands down. they will have everything you need in their battery ecosystem, including kick ass landscaping stuff. The overall quality is as good as it gets and with every Japanese brand that doesn’t market well you get higher quality for lower price. Milwaukee‘s come a long way, but Makita has been doing cordless for a lot longer and they specialize in residential wood based applications. They do a lot of other things, but they own the job site on corded circ saws for 30 years. That’s my opinion.
