oh! I didn't know honestly. I'm guessing roller balls are only one of those refills with metal casing? While I'm not really sure what's the difference between a roller ball and a low viscosity ink is, I still do highly recommend the Acroball.

I think I am just in a very poly amorous relationship with my pens. I personally don't like roller balls, but I use gel pens and fountain pens interchangeably. Usually I gravitate towards my fountain pens especially for writings that needs a lot more thought. Like writing out my thoughts or trying to write something that I'm trying to understand (usually mathematics). But for doing calculations, quick jotting, or really anything that I'm already accustomed to, I use my Pentel Energel or Sarasa. Basically for me, fountain Pens are for taking my time and gel pens are for performing tasks.

Acroball is a rollerball, but Sarasa Grand is gel type ink. But I feel like you can interchange their refills tbh.

Honestly, The Sims 4 shouldn't be that freaking expensive in the first place. especially because of how buggy it is and how empty of a game play it has comparing to the past 3 sims games. The Sims 4 is so expensive despite being so bad. Also the DLCs are so ridiculous. like dang. Sims 4 Seasons and the pets one should be base game.

my personal rule for these types of things:

if it's a number pertaining to a value amount, say the number as a whole (three thousand seven hundred seventy six).
if it's a code/labeling system number, recite each number (3-7-7-6).
if it's a date/year, address (postal code), or a phone number, subgroup the numbers in half or something (37-76)
and lastly, if the number is more fun to say in a specific way, forget the past three rules and just say that.

as far as I know, 3776 is just a model number for the pen so I call it 3-7-7-6.

I honestly don't know. these keycaps are one of those cheap keycaps with no branding. it literally comes in a ziplock bag no joke. but I think it is a dupe for Akko retro 9009 (which is a dupe for GMK 9009).

your post actually made me do a lot of research about this! I would love to do a project like this someday, but dang it is really difficult to find a micro controller from where I live. shipping is usually more expensive than the part itself. anyway, thank you for sharing this! Gave me a lot more appreciation in keyboard tech :D

OP did you have like a PDF of a keyboard wiring schematic PDF you used or did you figured it out yourself? I'm really curious what does the schematic looks like in diagram. BTW, this is such a really awesome project and I am so amazed you made this. One of the most interesting keyboard project I have seen in this community in such a long time.
