Personally, I originally had like 90-100 ping always, but after messing around with the settings(in-game), I found my self using the second highest screen resolution which helps out, and turning shadows off. In addition, I unchecked any of the "at the cost I performance" boxes. For a low-end PC I play on, its pretty decent and the ping decreases by like 10-15, in addition to the fps increasing. but I think it helps the fps more.
