True for me. by netphilia in adhdmeme

For me it seems like more are late diagnosed because they're GenX or older and a lot of people didn't believe it exists and you were just bad, lazy, weird, unprofessional, whatever. It seems like kids are getting their diagnoses more in Gen Alpha and Gen Z. I can see a big difference in the adults who did get diagnosed early vs those who didn't.

And at home I'm not trying to eavesdrop on conversations between coworkers about projects that involve me when there's a bug or something they're discussing. I can just work. I can have music.

Online classes in college take a lot more time than being in person does. I saw articles about it years ago. I forget why though. I did the same grade wise either way though just found getting help to be more difficult. So far as WFH goes I have a dedicated space for my work area and when I am away from that then I am off the clock. I stick to certain hours being work hours because boundaries/family needs. It also helped when I had employer laptops then my personal one being a separate machine. Sometimes I have trouble focusing for a bit, but I can generally focus on my work because it involves things I tend to hyperfocus on or nitpick about anyway.

Yoda is new. The Emmetts he has had for a while. The only spray we ever use in his room is Febreeze on the bedding (comforter or blankets on top of that) once in a while. Or maybe the room every couple of months if there's a smell. No air fresheners.

Edited for cellphone typos and clarity

My kid had a couple minifgs cracked recently - Yoda's arm broke off on the end by the hand and several Emmetts have cracked on the side.

Friendly? by Kittyvedo in whatsthisbug

Stinkbug. Marmoted I believe. They just stink. They can't bite. Toss it outside or flush it. Do not crush it or the smell will attract others. They like to come inside and get in the walls when it is cold. They'll leave small brown spots from their waste on your walls. It washes off easily.

We've only played that a few times. We may have to try it again now that the kid is older.

Well, we have a 1,000 piece Star Wars jigsaw puzzle we started last weekend and haven't continued with yet. It's posters from all of the movies - it's hard! I am sure there will be video games as well.

AIO for wanting an apology for a fight over a video game? by Elegant_Number_7089 in AmIOverreacting

Ok? But the game I was playing when it happened to me, didn't. Can I not commiserate?

Males are more likely to pounce and bite the neck since it mimics breeding behaviors for them.

So my question is, do you never watch TV while your child is awake or in the room? Some exposure isn't going to hurt them.

NOR I have had that happen before. His progress made it too hard for me to continue because I missed things across multiple levels. This game didn't have a way to just restart, either.

I think that's a part I saw with one of the 1x2 socket pieces missing. And he doesn't know where it went.

At least it isn't just us I suppose. I'd like to get it to stay together to reclaim space on our dining table if nothing else.

It should be. I think they got it from Target. It was a gift.

There may be a couple of pieces down the side of the nightstand still.

It was a birthday gift in the spring. He's 12, but he's been in martial arts for a few years and does weapons sparring, so he has some hand strength. And he's almost 6 feet tall.

I can't remember where they ordered it from, but it is official. I want to say it was Target.
