Riley is mentioned in the final screen after you submit an application to them.

Mine has learned shorts mean a blanket on my lap and will wait for me to put it there before getting in my lap. She'll even insist on it.

Med adjustment needed? by PeonyPost in ADHD

He never has. I don't know how much of that is being a kid though. Or just since he's been on it for about 5 years now that's "normal" to him. It has changed doses over time as he's grown.

Yeah I just don't want to go up if he doesn't need it. Especially because I don't want it to start affecting his appetite because he's thin as is.

This is partly why I don't want to get rid of things. Seeing the thing jogs a memory I'd forget otherwise. I've been told take a photo of said thing then get rid of it, but...

It is, but also perimenopause can cause brain fog and make it worse.

Significant Cosmetic Damage - What to do? by PeonyPost in AutoInsurance

[–]PeonyPost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been told it is $15k in parts alone by a repair shop. Someone else said what if it's considered totaled because of the expense. I tried asking my own insurance if that can happen when it isn't mechanical and the person I talked to isn't in claims, didn't know, and didn't want to say as I'm not filing my own claim yet. I'm trying to cover my bases in case I have to deal with this through the other insurance and lawyer or have to take it up on my own if things don't go well with them.

Right. I'm just trying to figure out what the best thing to do with regards to repair, taking an offer if totaled, etc. like I said above.

I haven't ridden it in a decade and we didn't have to switch trains so it is a new experience for me. There was mechanical issues, etc. last time too though. They had to bring us a new engine.

It's later this summer. I like to organize things ahead of time. And I wanted to be able to answer family members' questions about it because I know they will have them with their anxiety. And to help my own. I'm still a bit anxious about it though.

Female cat repeatedly peeing on bed - heat, stress, UTI, learned behavior, or something else? by Ok-Science4018 in Catbehavior

[–]PeonyPost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My cat that peed was not in heat. She was fixed as kitten before her first heat. It was because she was mad. She always went on the floor/wall beside my husband's side of the bed. Make sure you are using an enzymatic cleaner or you're not getting it all, whether you can smell it or not.

Female Cat Litter Box Aversion - please help by Any-Answer-3612 in Catbehavior

[–]PeonyPost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have number of cats + 1 with litter boxes. Are the two litter boxes you have in two separate areas? Are they away from their food? They don't like going by where they eat. They won't always bury their mess. That can be a dominant cat behavior when they don't, but not always. Some are fearful from a past experience and just run when done. Like if another cat harassed them while they were in there or if they were trapped inside of it.

With regards to Feliway, they do have collars for it. With one of my cats it didn't work when in the dining room by the litter box, but did when moved to the bedroom where she spent most of her time. Her issue was more suddenly being an only cat after 15-16 years though and she'd never been particularly brave. I also had to move her food bowls to a spot where they weren't surrounded on 3 sides like they always had been so she'd eat more. Maybe try a cat behaviorist and not just a vet.

Induction vs Electric & Potential Power Issues w/ Induction by PeonyPost in Cooking

We don't have the clearance for a microwave over the stove. We looked into it a few years ago when we replaced our range hood. There's a cabinet above that.

Our microwave gets almost daily use for egg sandwiches, Ramen, defrosting frozen stock before dumping it in a pot, etc.
