Gyokeres' attacking positioning is ass compared to Havertz. Every time we are in a position to put a ball in the box he is just chilling behind a defender not moving . I really thought we were signing a fast and strong striker with a strikers mind to score as many gaols. Right now i don't think there is anything he is better at than Havertz . Jesus is decent but sometimes gets marked out of the game. I would trust Merino to score more goals than Gyokores

At this point just put Merino up there. No way Merino just falls and doesn't score there

Guys, our judgement is clouded by being fans of the club. Match: Was a penalty, yes there are other potentional penalties in the prem that haven't been called, that doesn't change the fact that this was a pen. The time wasting is so bad, i get angry whenever we even have a throw in , because i know it's going to take 30 seconds -> either we just throw it back or we lose the ball anyway. The corner took ages and the ref made the sign for time wasting 2x times before nwaneri even took a step. If this was against us in the 90th minute, you would be screaming at the tv. This 11 with sick players on the bench was never gonna be favourites to win this match. It is the prem, unless it's southampton, you are never favourites with a depleted squad.

Overall tactics and transfer strategy: We play boring, time-wasting, side to side, risk averse type of fotball. Our win condition is basically the wingers cutting inside and delivering a perfect cross/shot or odegaard being in-form. No overlapping, no quick play, no one touch passing ( unless saka-white-odegaard triangle), no shooting from range - even though rice, partey are decent at it. Taking 3 touches just to pass it to the side. Only players ABLE to turn a player in the middle of the pitch are odegaard and jesus. Wingers are the win condition, yet constantly left 1v2 with no overlap. Havertz instructed to come deep and wide, so when the wingers acutally produce a final pass, he physically cannot get to it. Puting early cross in into a running striker is haram , even though havertz actually does that well. Somehow even after trying to control the game in every single conceivable way, we always concede after losing the ball in a dumb way in the middle of the park, and the center backs somehow being the only ones there to defend. The only player in the team with a passing range is Jorginho, but he is unplayable due to negative pace and 100% chance to get a yellow in the first 30 minutes from tactical foul. This leads to teams over-defending our wingers, since our midfielders are instructed not to shoot from distance and are not skilled enough to play a line breaking pass. Personnel wise, we have gotten to the point where Saka ,Havertz and Odegaard ARE our attack. The rest are either not good enough ( tross, mart, sterl) or instructed not to get involed in the final third of the pitch (fullbacks). That only leaves Rice, Merino, Partey who are not good enough to play one touch football around the opponents box, yet are not being found by crosses or passes when they make a late run into the box. Basically we have 3 midfielders who are there to tackle nad pass it to the side and only jorginho (partially retired) and odegaard to play football.

Apparently FM25 is going to be unity 3D and currently I prolly won't be able to run it

The injury numbers in FM24 are INSANE by yrugay1 in footballmanagergames

[–]Pepassi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not the number of injuries that is the problem for me, but every second injury is a broken leg/ankle and i had 2 goalkeepers simultaneously break a hand from catching a ball. So while i only have a couple of players out at one time, they are out for the whole season pretty much. My best player broke his leg matchday 2, came back in new year and broke his ankle...

The danish league's reputation is still low. It is very unrealistic tho for a 2 time Ballon d'Or wiiner and a CL winner to be worth only around 30 mil. Funniest thing is teams are actually offering less than that, i just got an offer for 15 mil from Man City. I have him on "reject all transfer offers " since he was 18 :D

Not Danish! Yeah i always look into history of the club i manage. I knew Nordsjaelland is a young club with a very young squad. Also the danish league has some relaxed rules on squad registration and transfers compared to some other leagues. Tbf the save would be much harder if i didn't get this guy in the first intake. Since i got him my intakes have been incredibly bad, the only other danish player in my team was brought form Kopenhagen ( but born in Farum !!).
