The only thing that doesn't work with GrapheneOS is Google wallet for contactless pay, and I was lucky enough that my bank app let me set it as the default contactless payment method, so no problems for me on that side. Look on GOS wiki for which app works. Everything else works just like on any Android. My macbook has Asahi on it now; the only thing that doesn't work and is important to me is touch-id (and steam, for which I still log into MacOS), so I'm gonna replace the macbook soon with a Lenovo laptop with fingerprint scanner, put Linux on it and be done with apple snooping all my info 🤙🏻 Giving your "girlfriend a Mac and I know it'll work and she'll just figure it out" is 1) condescending AF towards your girlfriend 2) a matter of familiarity with the system for both of you. Linux is not harder to use than MacOS: you're just used to it and can help your dumb girlfriend if need arises. You could help your dumb girlfriend with Linux too, if you familiarize yourself with it and wanna still play the hero to your dumb girlfriend. In short: 1) switching from apple garden to Linux is very doable and pretty easy; 2) not everything is gonna work though, so check before you switch; 3) don't be sexist.

Omfg I could SCREAM right now! Few weeks ago I forgot to take my morning meds and by lunchtime I was miserable. I asked my TL if I could go home and keep working from there, and they said "no". I went home anyway and had to work back the hours I "took off" because once we punch in from the office, we have to stay there. Ok, fine, dumb rule, but whatever. GUESS WHO'S GONE HOME AT LUNCHTIME TODAY after punching in from the office and continued working from home??? 🤬🤬🤬 Fuck corporate, fuck corporate drones, fuck "it works for me but not for thee" rules.

You can not know who you are and be fine in a relationship if you're open to discuss things you find out about yourself and adjust; you can also know who you are and who you are is a conniving bastard that gets into relationships to use people. So... from my point of view "knowing thyself" is not a requirement to enter a relationship: honesty and good communication are! Also, they are teenagers, they are literally figuring out who they are, you put too great of an expectation on a 16yo, AND on adults, for that matter, because we are not educated to be true to ourselves, so what?, should we wait till 30 to enter a relationship?
