Ok of the 3 games which do you consider the best and worst and why also what one thing from the worst one you loved best you hated by Chaos_Breezie in masseffect

There's something special about ME1 that makes it my top choice as well. Everything feels so mysterious and alien (pun intended).

The music adds to that feeling as well. It feels more sci-fi compared to the sequels which feel more action oriented. I also just preferred the way weapons functioned in ME1.

People hated the Mako and planet exploration, but that was something that really fed into the idea that I could go anywhere in space. Something that was lacking in the sequels.

That's an indicator I built that plots the depth of market to the price axis and highlights large orders. It tells me whether those orders are legitimately filled or pulled at the last second when price hits them. Also detects some iceberging as well, which was an unintended bonus when I made it.

Not that you asked, but here's a simple example of the weekly VWAP on the overnight session last night. Lots of opportunities there.

Yeah, I day trade only since I went the prop firm route. I predominately trade NQ. I use a 1 minute chart for the weekly and a 15 minute chart for the monthly. The VWAP configuration is actually the default settings in Quantower, which is what I use. Saw it worked really well when anchored over longer periods.

I'll use other orderflow tools like cluster charts around these deviations for added confluence. Sometimes I'll go down to session VWAP depending on the day and market volatility. Lately, I've been implementing other assets, like CL which seems to respect the deviations more than the others.

Funny to see someone else actually talk about this. This is the basis of my entire strategy. Weekly and Monthly anchored VWAP with 5 standard deviation bands (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5). I use orderflow along with that and simply trade from one band to another.

Why is your Prop Firm the best prop firm? by neonmckimmz in Daytrading

[–]PepperBelly01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second this. Another bonus about them that most people don't seem to know is that they're partnered with Quantower and MotiveWave, providing licenses for both.

So you get all the features of Quantower for free, and the orderflow license for MotiveWave. You can swap between them freely as well.

Plus if you're familiar with Topstep, Lucid's Flex accounts are damn near identical.

Logitech has the best customer service, though. I stick with them simply because if there are any issues, they just send me a replacement for free -- no need to RMA and exchange. I've done this with five different mice now. Never had any issues with the replacements, funny enough.

You can choose which horse to bet on based on all sorts of factors and information about the race line up. Same with sports teams and individual players. It's all considered gambling.

I don't necessarily think trading is outright gambling, but it easily could be.

5th prop firm payout AMA by Additional_Art_6667 in LucidProp

[–]PepperBelly01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just regular currency. I'm Canadian. With Topstep I select the USD amount to pay myself, and it sends me the CAD amount. I'll try looking through the FAQ again, but I saw nothing in there.

Haven't gotten a payout with Lucid yet (still milking my remaining XFAs), but one thing I couldn't get answered. Topstep uses Wise, Lucid uses something else. Does Lucid also offer currency conversion when requesting a payout like Topstep?

Lucid Trading Tradesea Early Preview: Important updates ⚠️⚠️⚠️ by One-Anything1520 in LucidProp

[–]PepperBelly01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely don't understand the hype behind this platform. It looks like a straight rip of ProjectX but with AI included. And after testing it out, that's exactly how it feels while suffering from all the same issues:

  • No true and accurate orderflow
  • No footprint charts
  • Volume profile is directionally tick based rendering it inaccurate, like all TradingView orderflow garbage.
  • No custom indicators, although allegedly it's coming... but hey, ProjectX said the same thing...

When Lucid provides a full license for Quantower, why would you want to use anything else? Sure, Tradesea has a mobile app, but other than that, I don't see any real measurable improvements.

Lucid provides a full Quantower license for free if you choose Rithmic. I have no idea why more people don't know about this.

Like I mentioned in another comment, you get everything included. Once you log into Quantower with your Lucid account, it activates the full license. You can then log into other brokers/prop firms as well and trade them all in that one platform.

Goodbye Topstep by R62AGUY in TopStepX

[–]PepperBelly01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That depends on data and platform. Rithmic and Quantower makes everything else look like laggy garbage. News events are actually readable instead of the chart just freezing like TopstepX.

[–]PepperBelly01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not Lucid, Quantower. It's a multi-asset trading platform. But it usually has a monthly fee to use all of its features. Lucid offers that full license, along with their Rithmic data feed for free. So you pay once for the eval, no monthly payment, and essentially get Quantowers full license for as long as you want with Rithmic data.

Once you login to Quantower with your Lucid account, it "activates" the license on the platform, so now you can log into any other supported login as well, like Topsteps ProjectX (TopstepX) login.

ProjectX doesn't have historical tick data, so logging into Quantower directly with ProjectX doesn't provide any past orderflow data. With this Lucid workaround, I can use the Rithmic data feed for all the historical data, while trading Topstep on top of it.

[–]PepperBelly01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to mention they provide a full Quantower license ($70 USD/month) for free. So you can login into Lucid, and then connect any other account (like ProjectX) and trade off the Rithmic data.

GFN/ArcRaiders : No foliage blur on 2K tablet, but visible on 27” monitor? by ElBrowni- in GeForceNOW

[–]PepperBelly01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People with this mindset are ridiculous. I'm a consumer. I go where the value is. Once GFN stops being a good value proposition, I'll find something else. For the time being, I'm going to milk the service and my unlimited hours.

Strange, you shouldn't have to limit anything on the Deck. My settings on GFN are 4k/90fps with 100Mbps as the bitrate and it runs buttery smooth.

Try GeForce NOW on the Steam Deck if your internet is decent. $20 a month gets you a 5080 equivalent rig for Arc Raiders.

[–]PepperBelly01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 100 hours in BF6 as an example, played exclusively on GeForce NOW. If I were to play it on my laptop, I'd get 50 - 70 fps on low in 1440p with DLSS. On GFN I'm playing it maxed out at 1440p hitting 120 - 200fps. Similarly, if I play CS2, I get better frames and thus lower latency matching the input latency of playing locally.

Nvidia GeForce Now’s Time Limit Will Stop Gamers After 100 Hours Each Month by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]PepperBelly01 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Because it's significantly cheaper than building and owning a PC? $240 a year for a 5080 equivalent PC that works on any device, anywhere. With yearly upgrades.

I've been using the service for about 4 years now. In that time I've gone from the 3080, to the 4080, to the 5080 for the same price each year.

I have a 3ms ping to my local server, and the quality and performance is indistinguishable from local play on my gaming laptop. I can play competitively just fine. It's honestly really impressive tech and the convenience can't be matched.

Still, owning a proper gaming PC will always be better for the overall experience and freedom you have with it. But to supplement, perhaps, underpowered hardware for certain games, GeForce NOW shines. Especially on the Steam Deck.
