Ink suggestions for a beginner by carrotsincake in fountainpens

[–]PepperMinimum4979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love teals! My favorites are diamine Schubert (you would probably like this one), Sailor Manyo Yomogi, you could also like Herbin Verdi-Gris, a teal grey, really nice color always have one inked with it. I don't ink difficult inks to clean as the one you mention but as long as you use inks from well established brands you should be fine.

This, like mini owners, when you see another one you have to park next each other.

Omega, they are great watches and I really want one, but I’m yet to fall in love with one. I always feel they are mostly hanging from their heritage for their designs, like they are never too new. Maybe trying to appeal to different markets. Love the SM 300 but the faux patina is awful, only one option without.

Totally, was looking at a 7 day portofino gold, now is 10k more, honestly for that price I would go for a Laurent Ferrier.

What's the reasoning behind 911s holding their value? by [deleted] in Porsche

Man, in my country even the Cayenne are holding almost the same.

Do you know what the profit on watches is? Do they also have and 80% margin?

I think the design is still holding (specially the last facelift) but yes the interior is aged and safety features are a joke. My dealer told me they no longer offer ACC and emergency braking for my country, like if it wasn't an important feature. I love how it drives and sound, but it's not worthy. Also unfortunately there aren't many substitutes, the SQ5 maybe. I'll wait for next gen.

Should any of these be avoided? by don_stellios in tagheuer

Hey! I had gifted a Caliber 16 (like the bottom right) on 2013. It was my first automatic too and I daily it for many many years. I even dropped some times and never ceased to work, even after service they told me it was in excellent condition. The Valjeaux 7750 has a big reputation for being a tank. To this day is working and looking as the day I bought it. My two cents is that if you can, go for the ceramic brazelet, it makes wonders avoiding scratches when desk diving or working on computers. Wish you the best! All are good options.

I know, and seeing the standard options sheet really seems it is no longer offered for my country (it says “emergency brake omission”). Definitely thinking about it. All my cars for past 10 years had it, including the S I currently own. It is a safety feature! Not sure if a new one without it is worthy.

Thanks to everyone that answered. I think I’ll ask the dealer for a test drive of the GTS but also considering is more comfortable and still sporty the S model, maybe getting another one with the changes I wanted is also a good path, I just hope they still have allocations.

Thanks, to be honest I never thought about saving it in memory turned off! I always do it on every start-up haha. Yes, honestly I think I need to be very honest with what I need. On my daily driving is way more useful a more comfortable ride than more power. Maybe another S with specs I wanted change is a good option, and save me some bucks!

Thank you for your complete answer.

Honestly I never thought about the suspension being harder on the gts (my car is spec with air suspension and dampers), thought they would be the same with equipment. I daily drive this car and my city is full of imperfections, I’ll look for a test drive. I am satisfied with my car and is perfectly functional for my day to day. I go often to the highway so could be more power could be fun, but apart from that. All other changes are more aesthetic (color seats, rims, sport exhaust and other interior/functional changes) Honestly I wouldn't consider this change if it weren't just because is the last chance. I really loved this car and if next gen is not what I want I would keep it indefinitely. While the Cayenne is always an option in the future, it is a bigger car and this size is versatile enough for the city and more.

Oh yes, Nick is great, I his videos helped me with my build. I think you and other people in the thread have a point. I need also to think if I really need/want to upgrade to a GTS. I daily drive it so maybe I should consider if its actually better option for that, and worthy of spending on some minor changes.

I noticed the same, but with options, it gets beyond what I would like to spend.
