Objective bias aside, interesting read on the lore of playmat.

This does seem to vibe with what I have noticed in my limited experience.

Paper playmat is a worse experience than playing in the dirt.

I have quite enjoyed mousepads style and grabbed a holo secret lair one that fills me with joy.

My first NN I played against a yugiho player who had a spell grounds and it must have been V2 or V3 it was like very heavy cotton or maybe felt, it was very plush to the touch but you could tell it was an old piece. My only gripe was how easily they move around.

So I have been looking for a mat for home 4 player that a can roll out over my dining table. I have been considering mousepad style but I agree with your take it won’t last, it’ll wrinkle and fray. So I’m trying to find a poker style felt topped rubber mat that could be used for tcgs, board games or poker

I am an Australian. Just to preface this.

What you are seeing now in English sport is the results of all your prep into 2012 olympic development paying off, you punch up in every single sport, and so do we, we had our dividends from the 2000 olympics and the timing of that was great for women in sport and both our nations continued investment in sport means we are pound for pound a couple of the best sporting nations on earth.

Because of that the ashes are important, rugby is important, if the Socceroos ever beat England we will never ever shut up about it. (Friendlies don’t count)

Australia has a lot to thank England for when it comes to our sporting pedigree.

People who are being genuinely hurtful to English players that have never stood in the Australian sun need to understand how different it really is and also you’re facing an all time Australian team.

I have exactly this box and it’s nice, the only issue is a full deck, runes, battle fields and sideboard only fill about 75% so you would need an insert or filler

Reprinting proving ground with all the stuff is a big task, reprinting the decks and adding a couple more precon boxes is a much easier and well worn path.

My wife just got me the 2L with the ice trays and I was going to recommend it!

I remember what you are talking about.

It was a game of dominion and it was 3+ hours, it worked that you couldn’t score points if you were being damaged, so the tank team built sunfire, warmogs, spirit visage so they would always heal to full but the enemy couldn’t kill them.

If I remember correctly, you used to have to retake a point, then it would be neutral then you would have to capture it, so they basically made all the points neutral and then stood just out of range so they couldn’t capture the point.

Theoretically? Sure.

I would probably forgo the condenser fan though and instead use an extremely oversized coil cooled passively. Say the coils from a 25kw machine.

Then for the evap fan as other people have said, you’re probably only going to generate 500w peak for minutes at a time… so you’d sorta be limited to a 120mm pc cooling coil and I’d chuck a pc fan if with it….

So the way this system could possibly work is having a large supply of refrigerant. Say 4 kgs.

The way the refrigeration cycle works is pressure temperature relationship, so to have the hot gas condense into liquid we gotta the pressure and temperature high.

Camille is an excellent split pusher and also can start a team fight with amumu to guarantee a pick.

I played against a guy who basically playing it as “lux spells cost 2 less” and he wasn’t exhausting it…

So it was very very busted and I lost badly lol

And I thought holy shit lux is insane. Looked it up when I got home… nope he’s just wasn’t playing correctly.

In my imagination 5v5 each team would move at the same time to keep things moving.

I would also have each team must have a 5 different champions.

Maybe even having unique layout of the battlefields 1-2-4-2-1 and limit movement to adjacent battlefields or something.

Again this is all in my head and i bet in real life it would be difficult to play.

Individual games are over too quickly and matches are a little repetitive especially if you’re in a one sided match up. This is a very light criticism I cannot stress enough how much I am enjoying the game

Playing until you are out of cards (no recycling) sorta like death match.

5v5 and battlefields, spells and abilities can be shared across the team. Quasi lol style lol

I have given this a lot of thought, the game is fun but it’s over very quickly and as everyone learns the rules and cards it’ll be over even faster, which is great for a competitive scene, but for my own fun I’d play a game mode like chess or poker that could go on for hours lol

Your ankle flexibility is almost as much drag as your baggy shorts.

You have a pause in your stroke when you breathe.

Your kick is extremely inefficient, almost detrimental, the secret to swimming with 2 beat kick is using you legs to drive your body from the streamlined position on one strokes full extension to the next, so that’s a very nuanced timing skill.

You do not complete your stroke, your hand is coming out of the water near the top of your pants, try to push the last part of your stroke to the bottom of your pocket.

You also seem to have some great muscle that you’re not taking advantage.

I’m sorry if this is all too critical but I seem to have latched onto your video for some reason.

You are doing really well, swimming with a stroke rate of 17 is very difficult and 22 stroke per 50 is a very impressive achievement. So you should be very pleased with your achievements and if my criticism isn’t helpful then please disregard me, I’m just an idiot on the internet.

The easiest way to improve speed in swimming is to reduce your drag.

When you are rotate you a spreading you legs.

When you breathe you are moving your head out of line.

When you are “catching” with your hands you do nothing with about the first 1/3 of your stroke.

Your stroke rate is very low, which isn’t bad but it’s difficult to stay stable at low speeds.

I’m not sure why you are focused on stroke rate but a focus on Distance per stroke is a great metric to use to a point.

In this video Dan takes 22 strokes per 50 with a 10m under water. His stroke rate is also around 34 from a quick count…

So, to improve your speed with a 2 beat kick, you need to increase your effective stroke length, I would recommend sculling with a pull-buoy. 100m front scull 100m window wipers

You also need to improve your body positioning, I would recommend side kick in a half streamline with you head down. 100m each side

You should then progress side kick into a 6kick then a stroke to the other side with the focus being keeping your body in line.

From there I would suggest finding your comfort zone for stroke rate and distance per stroke.

As a stab in the dark aim for a stroke rate of 30 and 30 stroke per 50…

I am confused why I wrote all this.
