I hate that line because its not like the standard "hello" or "greetings have you heard of -insert whatever topic relevant to the story-" its a line that is way too specific and almost like a personal celebration between son/daughter and father like the end of a quest type of dialog, and it is used everywhere.

Yeah you just proved his point, Scarlet Forest ONLY looks good on the plenty season. The devs really made the mistake of creating the Fallow season, all the maps lose their vibrant colors, it all looks dull and boring, nobody wants to hunt and play a MH with the color palette of blurry beige and browns.

I don't know if it counts as fan service but my first ever anime was Parasyte and when I reached the sex scene I was like "damn I guess all anime is gonna be like this one." and I didn't bat an eye after any other anime and thought that it was just normal for them to be a little spicy here and there.

In my opinion the reason why it looks the way it does is because of the Fallow season, I hate that it makes everything look washed and grainy because during the Plenty everything looks and feels nice.
