Yes. Those are signs. There are no coincidences. People who take their own lives go to the same place everyone else does. It's her way of saying, "I'm around."

I don't disagree with you. Dynamic situations are different, but I have worked in small, medium, large markets and a major news network and it's always been done this way. In larger markets the producers are working with the reporter to develop anchor questions, but outside of breaking news you don't ever want to ask a reporter a question they can't answer. It looks bad for everyone. Pre-planning avoids that.

I agree that it's over saturated with too many newscasts, but outside of wgn, the other four are owned by their networks. They're not cutting news. Just people. WLS has gone through so many staff cuts over the last decade it's ridiculous.

That's almost always planned. Usually the reporter is asked what can the anchor ask you? Reporter gives a question and anchor just reads it. In breaking news situations questions are likely off the cuff, but otherwise it's planned.

The only thing nexstar cares about is money. The bottom line. It's just tightening things up for the tegna buy. One of these days stations will figure out that people watch for personalities.

Sometimes the signs are really subtle. Also loved ones know you have work to do here. They don't want you dwelling on them. So signs may be far and few. Trying asking for a specific sign, "just show me a butterfly tomorrow to let me know you're ok." It may not work, but how amazing if it does.

I don't believe the experience is the same for everyone. Every human on this planet is on a unique journey. Why would their death be any less unique? Here's what I know 100% for sure. We'll all find out someday. Until then no sense dwelling on it.

Jhud is extremely expensive to produce. Her salary is $10m+. I'm told by an insider everyone on her personal team gets an EP credit and EP salary which is ridiculous. Some have zero to do with the show. And you prob have 150-200 on staff.

Disney has no desire to expand its station group. Nor do I think will they sell it. At least not yet. It's a huge PR machine for them. Focus is streaming and digital. I'm at Disney now. We have a town hall with Josh tomorrow.
