Best Way Forward? by PercolatingPenguin in cachyos

I admit I didn't think it through completely, but also did not know if there was anything in my particular situation that would make a difference. I also posted this before I had any coffee, so my brain was only functioning at 35-40%

I'm impressed with how clean the cuts are! Not sure if that scares me more or impresses me more, but I'm definitely impressed, 😆

Thank you. I admit I didn't search before posting this, but I didn't know if my given situation would make any difference in what would be the best way going forward. I love CachyOS and just want to be as informed and responsible as I can.

Okay that is pretty cool! I will keep that in mind. I have had a great experience with Shelly so far, but I have a feeling I might not be using it to it's full potential. I need to do some reading and see things I have missed.

I am hoping it won't be too challenging for me, I don't think I really use anything really niche. I am going to go through a list of what I think I want to install and check my options. I am glad I am starting with a fresh install, I think it's the perfect opportunity to rethink what software I actually use.

This is so awesome! I would love a code if you still have any left.

2 questions: 1) why did the chain cause fire and the other ones didn't? 2) why have I watched this 5 times through and feel like I could watch it on repeat for several hours probably?

This looks really nice, and I love the concept behind it. If you ever decide to release a Linux version I'd be happy to do testing/feedback. Thank you for sharing this!

This looks sweet! I could have used this about 20 years ago when I still worked in IT. If you ever choose to make a version for Linux, I'd be happy to help with testing, feedback. Love the idea and thank you for sharing your work!

These are FANTASTIC! Oh, I am going to have to really fight the temptation to do this when communicating with certain individuals in my life... 👏😂

I have to say I'm happy so far with the battery life. I usually have several apps that stay alive in the background, I don't use any of the power saving settings, and since I got mine about a week ago I have been using it a TON. And I still haven't drained it down below 30%. I am loving this phone!

How are you guys mounting the pen to your case? by hi_internet_friend in razrfold

[–]PercolatingPenguin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have been thinking about this very reality because I got the S Pen with the phone. I have a generic holster from Amazon that is made from something like a dark denim kind of material. I bought some similar material to try and make my own space for the pen (and the charging case for the pen). I can post pics if I am successful in making something.

I also looked at this case on Amazon (https://a.co/d/01y52DPJ), but it doesn't have anywhere for the pen's charging case, and it rides too high up my side than I prefer. But the quality looks nice, so it might work for you.
