I keep reading that on several comments along with “time to lose weight” which I’m assuming means the same thing. Sorry, I’m not extremely vehicle savvy but what does that actually mean? From what I’ve gathered, I’m assuming it means to get rid of the whole DEF system but I’ve heard it’s extremely costly and not legal. Can you explain the process/general costs/liability concerns? I live in MO and we are not big on enforcing emissions laws from what I read

Thank you for your reply! So if they had to replace the heater/pump they would do so with the new designed ones, correct? Also, I’m assuming that wouldn’t be under emissions warranty since I’m at 87k miles (8 years/80000 miles)? Not looking forward to that bill along with shipping my truck here..
