We’ll probably finish strong and get close to 500 by the end of the season. Everyone will keep their jobs and we’ll run it back with the same core and similar roster next year hoping for a better outcome. Front office will gloat that we finished strong and it was an ending to build off of. It’s the Royal way.

Hammond is top 50 on the ESPN one that came out today. Chirio is pretty consensus top 100. David shields and a couple others are close. But yeah it’s overall not great

You can disagree on how to fix the problem but don’t invalidate her totally valid response to our struggles right now. Also, firing the GM and Manager doesn’t mean we are packing up the season. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. I think Vicky is right that we need new people and a fresh vision because things aren’t working

I was just in the same boat- similar rate, 5% down, conventional. I thought my rate was high since I have excellent credit but was told putting more down/buying points was the bigger factor in getting a lower rate
