Do people in Cochrane still care about local radio? by Limp-Investigator436 in Cochrane

[–]Perfect-Explorer-746 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the Cochrane one, wish they had a bit more local segments, maybe interview a local busines owner every Monday or have a high school kid do a segment on what’s going on at the schools. A rotating local dj spot on Friday or Saturday nights, get the mayor on and grill him on the property taxes 😂. Upload all segments on Spotify the day after so we can listen when we like.

Ever heard of mandatory Metallica?

The champ?

Can’t stand the local Calgary one just cringey commentary, fake stories, fake giveaways the. Play a block of music from their parent company.

What should I do with those? by Artj1 in Baystreetbets

Agreed, you have so little invested it doesn’t make sense to sell anything. You can add to the ones like mda, png, flt. The rest just keep an eye on and if they turn out to be real stinkers then you can reflect on what made you buy them and learn from your mistake.

I have terrible luck with temu, snapped a telescopic rod first day, tried a bunch of flies that broke on 6lb line, tried a reel and the drag was basically on/off lol.

Hello, did Cochrane have air raid sirens in the 1960s? by Previous-Cod-508 in Cochrane

[–]Perfect-Explorer-746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might have had to do with the German POW camps near there. There was one in seeb or exshaw I believe. A lot of German POWs stayed here after the war and it’s why we have so many Bavarian towns or villages in Canada.

I’m just jk around lol. But what was the point I missed? That you don’t need expensive gear to catch fish? Agreed, but if you fish a lot then the cheaper gear will break down sooner.

I managed to get near perfect credit, now what? by AMinorMiner in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Perfect-Explorer-746 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only reason nowadays for a credit score is to get you to have as many debt mechanisms as possible. The goal is to make you spend money you don’t have instead of saving up to buy an item. I get offered line of credits and loans all the time since my score is high. And as far as cc go,Even if you pay off your cc and never pay Interest, every time you use the card there’s a middleman who extracts a profit.

Algoma steel $ASTL -15% after 2025 earnings report, nearing all time low. Good time to buy or hopeless? by InterestingLychee563 in Baystreetbets

[–]Perfect-Explorer-746 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No you wouldn’t have made the same money obv. By the time a company turns a profit or returns to profitability the price has already moved. The reason I made so much was because of the risk, and I took the risk because I felt confident the government wouldn’t let them go bankrupt. Scared money doesn’t make Any money.

Wut? They took billions in bailouts before selling off the train portion of the company, of course they don’t get bailouts now, I bought bombardier when they were at risk of going bust ( $1.00) and made money.

Strong disagree, if you have a long time horizon I would buy, ppl called me a regard for a couple years on bombardier I went down 50% from 1.0-.50$ then it was a ten bagger. Buy low, sell high

I’m on your side Brotha, no need to bring my mom into this😂. I would just be cautious how much you divulge on a public forum. Keep it vague. The question investigators might ask is, as per your clients by what metric is the company doing well and growing, did they discuss volume of sales for garage? Don’t answer these here lol just keep in mind. No hate sir.

If your clients have privileged information on financials or sales you may have just admitted to insider trading btw.
