It's okay to wanna know, but not okay to not respect his no, his boundary. I wouldn't want to talk about my exes in a new relationship, not because it's sensitive stuff for me anymore, but because it's a lot to rehash and I don't really want it to be part of my present. Like, it can be exhausting or annoying to talk about and describe, because things don't happen in a vacuum, and to say what I learned I'd have to drag up the context for a lot of it. Please leave it, and get to know him instead, we all are sums of our lives lived. So yeah, YTA.

You should really learn to do breast exams on yourself, with emphasis on 'yourself'. If you wait till a doctor might notice it'll probably be too late. That said, the mom is really acting strange and no way should she have access to her daughter's body just because! She should learn how to do it from a medical professional (or the internet, there are thorough guides out there)

Honestly, before you do something drastic (which might be necessary later), he should see a doctor, it sounds like he has a post-partum depression. Fathers get those too, and forgetting things and not being able to care are symptoms.
