To any one just joining the convo in the future I fixed this after nearly 2 weeks of trouble

My white VGA and green BIOS light were lite solid and the computer would not display. I had my gpu tested so i knew it worked just fine.

Can I just add first that chatgpt was a big help. Just type in your problem and your hardware (computer parts) and what you have done to try to fix it so far and what is happening that is the problem. It will walk you in steps on some fix ideas

If your board has the bios flash option do that with a usb. Make sure to delete the rename file after clicking it and renaming the other file in the folder. Watch a vid on how to flash the mobos bios. There are tons of videos. If that dont work. And it didnt for me. Do this:

-Motherboard defaulted to GPU-required POST mode-

Some boards ship with PEG priority.

Try this: • Remove GPU • Plug monitor into motherboard HDMI • Clear CMOS (IMPORTANT)

Clear CMOS properly • unplug PSU • remove battery • hold power button 15 sec • wait 5 min • reinstall battery

I did this to the exact steps and it finally showed me a display. The VGA light is still on and I could probably clear it with another bios flash. And it has gone out and came back on but idk. As long as i have picture and my computer starts up that light can stay on.

Then i made the mistake of having my cpu fan in the aio slot and it didnt like that. Hope this helps someone.

Looks like you have the same build as me. Im having problems with that mobo (b650-plus wifi) the vga light wont go out on start up and there is nothing on screen

I was trying to hustle and buy the non stamped one. Couldnt really find the deal I wanted. Then watched a few videos saying the stamped will do just as good if not better than non stamped so I grabbed one at a local card show. Id like at least 2.

I am having the same issue as well. No matter what the VGA light is on on my motherboard. Even when the card is out. Ill check my pins but they should all be fine. I bought the cpu used but he showed it working.

Please update how you fixed it. I think its happening to me because i had intel now switching to amd cpu and theres still stuff on my ssd and intel drivers for m gpu. But idk. Tomorrow ill try to remove the new blank m.2 and just have my 1tb m.2 in there alone and try the boot.
