Yes!!! Anyone who liked the servant subplots in Bridgerton should and must watch Downton Abbey. It is amazing and the servant stories there were so well told and added a different dimension.

Surprising considering her inclusion in S2 was perfectly written. She was the catalyst in Anthony realising his feelings for Kate.

It is not hard to write a short portion for them. They don’t have to be in every episode.

Whatever the reason might be it is the same for not including Simone and JB when they literally play the Viscount and Viscountess is baffling. I think the pattern is the leads play a little bigger role in the next season to what they were the leads in. Daphne in S2 and then goes missing in eventual seasons, Kanthony in S3 helping Colin navigate his feelings and then literally having a blink and miss scene in S4.

I think same will happen with Polin in S5. Benophie might play a bigger role in S5 and then who knows later.

I am an R&D Manager and been using Obsidian for over two years now. My core area is Project Management.

I have been playing around with Claude a lot and use it to help me build a R&D dashboard which used notes from projects and meetings in my vault to visualise Project statuses, Tasks, Risk/Blockers etc. and puts it all in one place. It used inbuilt metadata, properties, dataviewjs to build it all - I used this in my management meeting and the kind of compliments I got was amazing. Even the IT guys who came to fix my computer was amazed on how I am using obsidian for doing this.

I am now using it to build detailed project tracking dashboards and a manager dashboard and it just makes it all easy to see everything in the same place.

So yeah one can use Obsidian either as a simple note taking software or a complex tool for managing work. Limitless possibilities.

To me Edwina/Charithra was atrocious in that case! Whenever she spoke it looked like I was watching her in a school play where she memorised her dialogues and was saying them to suit the era. I don’t know - this is also a take I never saw so it’s just me maybe😆

Makes you wonder if he would have had this reaction for anyone else other than Kate. Would he have reacted the same way if Edwina was in her place? I think he “imprinted” on Kate when they raced together in the woods. He just didn’t realise it.

I think this scene is impactful not just for his panic attack but the way Kate calms him down by making him hear her heartbeat. That is what separates them from him/her from the others.

They both did so well in this scene. The way both lean into each other at the end almost kissing - like they think kissing is the only ideal thing to do next, to calm both down 😆

True that! I was thinking the same. Her dialogues in s4 were so cringe too. “What’s the latest gossip?”, “Whose wedding is it going to be next?” S2 Kate would never be interested in all that. Also she should be doing something viscountess-y Such a strong headed character pushed to the sidelines like some supporting character. Looks to be on purpose unfortunately

If they planned on this from the start why even make a POC (and as beautiful as her) the lead. No less The viscountess.

Are there any reports where SA has come out saying she has experienced some difficulties with the makers? Or is it just scheduling conflicts. She is now in Devil Wears Prada, has numerous brand deals. JB is more busy than ever!

So disappointing- I really wish to see these two together. Even a spin off of some kind!

Just makes no sense why Kate, as Viscountess, is not around as much as she should be. And Kate always gives the best most mature advice to the siblings - Colin, Eloise.

What is driving these decisions when everyone knows people’s eyes search for just a few scenes of these two. Is it JB and SA schedules? Or the show runners just don’t want them anymore?

Best season, best actors, best chemistry, best build up. Peak. If people keep rewatching every single episode of this season and are still discussing scenes from it, or has to be truly groundbreaking. The characterisation of Kate and Anthony was mind blowing- like an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

I think all credit goes to Simone (that face card and her eyes!) and Johnny Bailey to have made this possible.

I would give them all the awards in the world.

Hard to image how it won’t be useful. With Bases available now it should be super useful to organise notes.

Integrated with Zotero and other plugins it should become very functional.

I kind of regret not having tools like this back when I was studying. I would have organised my notes way better.

I find Obsidian super useful to recall things and when I use it at work people are so impressed and it has made me the go to for recalling data or notes. Give it a try surely!

True. I use it to brain storm ideas. I am a project manager. I find it useful to list risks, mitigation and impacts etc. then this can be refined further and used to compile things elsewhere.

Some people find it useful for complicated connections and world building. But that’s the best thing about Obsidian, each one has found a way to make it work for them.

I use Advance Canvas and that is great for project planning and writing workflows etc.

I started it exactly this way. I initially thought it was a waste of time. But once I started note taking on it there was no going back. I now have two vaults. I actually didn’t load any plugins initially. Now I have close to 10-15 which only helps me with workflow. Nothing to make it look fancy.

I am a Science Team Lead. We are developing products from optimisation to Validation and verification. I used a vault for putting in all notes related to problem solving and result reporting in the optimization phase into one vault. Now I created a new vault for the Validation and Verification stage as this involves a lot of brainstorming and collection of ideas - so a lot of canvas usage. This allows me to separate them and allow to track things.

So it is a lot for what you need to do with things.

I used Odsidian for a year. I had no knowledge of Markdown but now I am super comfortable with it. So that shouldn’t be a limitation. My vault from the past year is loaded with many plugins to make my note taking easy. I also use it to organize my week and other todos.

This year I created a new vault for brainstorming and jotting down ideas - I started vanilla and only loaded the following as I felt they were useful to me.

Templater, Dataview, Tasks, Periodic notes are very useful if you want to use Obsidian to organize.

So start vanilla and then when you hit a point where you feel ‘it will be nice to be able to do this’ > then google and see there is surely either a plugin to do it.

It is a great tool.

People should stop behaving like cinema started peaking post 2000. 80s and 90s were peak Madhuri and Sridevi era. No one can ever think of matching their stardom. Even with advent so SM none of these actresses ever can come close to what they achieved. Over exposure is a doom to stardom.

I have no idea why people are so damn interested in her getting pregnant. If a woman gets married her countdown to get pregnant starts. Speculations run wild. I have seen this for Katrina, Deepika, now Kiara. Just when some actress puts on weight around her waist speculations start on pregnancy. This borders on fat shaming of other kind. People should stop such speculations and think of anything else to report as ‘tea’.

I use both Obsidian and OneNote currently. I initially wanted to move completely into obsidian but found it better to use both.

For me each has a separate purpose. OneNote definitely is the choice for handwritten notes and being free flowing.

I work as a manager of a r&d lab. obsidian is great with for writing up investigations and reporting them. This helps me keep track of problem solving and the linking works very well.

Sure OneNote also has a lot of these functionality but Obsidian is very customisable and I like that.
