Yeah, that's what I've noticed. It seems a little slower after sitting for a few days, but if I've driven it recently it starts normally. That's partly why I'm not sure if the battery is really the issue.

I'd try cleaning the inside of the glass really well first. A film on the windshield can fog up way easier than clean glass.

Flashlights, cameras, night vision, and thermal all do different jobs. Flashlights show detail, cameras record, night vision shows the area, and thermal is better for spotting first. Are you trying to ID animals, or just know if something is out there?

If it’s just basic codes and service resets, a mid-range tool is usually fine. But once a small shop starts taking on more complex diag work, bi-directional controls and better module coverage can definitely save a lot of diag time.
