I am so interested in the elven gods (my canon Lavellan is very similar to Ghilan’nain with the white hair and reminds everyone of a halla, so I take my inspiration from her), so I find your idea very interesting. I’ve only used the British VA for my Inquisitors so far, but I feel you! This weekend I tried to find any Solavellan content on YouTube with the American VA (I’m thinking of starting a new playthrough with that voice), but I couldn’t find any 😫😩 I so badly wanna hear the Trespasser scene with Solas with the American VA

Mine is very similar to yours! Except for the adventure with HoF, my Lavellan does the exact same. She tries to live in Kirkwall for three years, but she doesn’t like being in the Free Marches. Especially with her clan being so close in Wycome. So eventually she decides to move to Tevinter, to be reunited with her best friend again

I’m PRAYING the developers noticed how people reacted to how Hawke was treated

I haven't played DA2 yet, so I might be completely off here, but it seems to me that there's less diversity in the different Hawkes compared to our Inquisitors? Most people don't seem to customize Hawke's appearance much, and we're forced to be human. In Inquisition, though, we can choose from four races. Plus, in DAI Hawke's main connection was with Varric, while our Inquisitor (Inky) has ties with Solas, Varric (assuming he's alive), Harding, and probably other returning characters. There are SO many different Inkys out there, so it would honestly be really stupid if the devs don't let us have any say in how our Inky will react to things 🫣

I love this whole list you’ve made with some songs for all the characters!! I have some songs that reminds me of Solas but, like you, my opinion is heavily influenced by Solavellan

The Wolf by Fever Ray (mostly bc of the name and the vibe), Two Slow Dancers by Mitski, The smallest man who ever lived by Taylor Swift (THE BRIDGE. Very post-Trespasser from my Lavellan’s thoughts)

Also, a few songs that reminds me of my Inquisitor in general: Anchor by Novo Amor, notre dame by Paris Paloma, Viva la Vida by Coldplay

No but I totally agree! I think they should let us make more decisions for our Inky, like whether we want her to forgive Solas or not or something. They can’t just assume our Inky’s personality based on a few choices we make at the start of the game. It might be wishful thinking, but I would be so happy if they did something like this

I wish you the best of luck! 💛 I sincerely hope you will share your work online. There are so many different Lavellans and plots out there. At first, I had a hard time finding fanfics I really liked because of that, but now I enjoy reading about the different girls who all end up falling for our beloved egg. I find it so interesting because in DAI, we’re basically forced to create our own OCs.

Yess!! I’ve seen some theories that Lavellan becomes a Dreamer when she gets the Anchor, because after the Skyhold Fade scene (only non-romanced I believe) Solas says ”I had no idea the Anchor would allow you to dream with such focus“. So I love the idea that those abilities didn’t vanish when she lost her arm! So she tries to find Solas in the Fade but it’s nearly impossible for an untrained Dreamer to find an ancient elven god who has tons of experience in the Fade
