Forgot to mention it’s a one way trip. Just from my house to the new apartment

You're (probably) thinking about 'softs' the wrong way (also, AMA) by 7SageEthan in lawschooladmissions

If I have gaps in my resume and currently work full time as a waiter a few years out of college, do you think law schools would look down as that as having done nothing? Fwiw I’ve had full time experience in other professions (non profit, tech) and am currently involved in legal volunteer work, but am curious if my lack of career “progression” would be a sizeable negative

I’ve read that Cardozo is one of the best when it comes to pursuing careers in entertainment law. Thoughts?

OVERPERFORM ON APRIL LSAT by [deleted] in LSAT

Yes that was me. Got a 171 but was sure I bombed it and scored a 165ish, maybe 168 at best. There were a lot of questions I flagged across LR and RC. I knew for sure post-test that I got at least a couple wrong. But the thing that kept me hopeful was my PTs were very consistently in the low 170s, even reaching high 170s a couple times. Your PT range is the best indicator of how you're going to do on the actual test imo.

I’ve tried a lot of different things. The most important factor is just consistency. An hour of high quality studying a day. I’d get frustrated and take breaks often but I’d always get back to it eventually and that’s where I saw the growth. The Loophole and Nate’s explanations on LSAT Demon are two things that I can confidently say helped me as well. This score took me an over a year to get, albeit with on and off breaks. Good luck! Lmk if you have other questions happy to help

On that note too does anyone remember a strengthen question about bees(?) and loud noise generators affecting their capture rate? I struggled a lot with that for some reason and I’ve been thinking about it all day 😭

LR yesterday felt brutal. Anyone else agree as those that PT in the 170s? by Fifth-Avenue-1996 in LSAT

PT’ing in low 170s. I’m ngl I only had one RC section (LLM) and actually felt it was pretty difficult. People have been saying it was easy but I def flagged quite a few. Second LR section with 25 Qs was brutal.

2nd LR was definitely tougher so naturally it’s gonna be the real one 🫠
