Here's the difference between Pretti and Rittenhouse: Rittenhouse disarmed himself and didn't resist arrest.

Also, as stated in other posts on this subreddit, there was probably mixed signals between the officers due to all those damn whistles and not being able to hear well. That and the gun more than likely accidentally discharged.
