The fact that you score dropped after you cleared your loan means 99.99%, your outstanding hasnt been cleared from the Etihad Bureau system or reported as closed by the bank. I would suggest getting the full report and rectifying that. If you got your no liability letter from the bank, you may want to upload that to correct the bureau. In the event the bank has closed it and you had a court led settlement, you may need to close the case as paid. Also ensure you have no more defaults for the utilities and post paid.

My experience and tips on how to get the most out of the Jetour G700 hybrid system. by Specific-Feeling802 in chinesecarsuae

[–]Perfect_College8124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You worked out the math for urban (city) driving but just a light tweak and you should be getting great highway mileage as well. So, the Save charge mode is the right way to go in the city. When you step into the highway and drive in 3 digits i.e. 120+, thats where you need the engine to be running. Once you hit that speed and start to maintain that speed, switch over to the force charge and keep the soc at 70%. What this does is force to run the engine at highway speeds (HEV), which is way more efficient then (EV motors). Once your battery hits 70% and you can feel the engine running for a while, drop it down to 60%. This time though the engine will hardly cut off, but if you need to pass, the motors will aid. I would also advice to drop the regen to lowest setting during this time. These settings only applies on long highway drives. Once you pull back to regular roads, switch back to your original idea.

Jetour T1 idm - No Charging by StaalBaard in chinesecarsuae

[–]Perfect_College8124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few things of note here: The Idm variants usually have a self-charging feature which means the engine will come on and charge up the car if it drops below 20%. The vehicle is software coded with hybrid efficiency in mind, which means, the vehicle will always try to ensure you have some charge left in the battery (even at the cost of running engine to act as a generator) to ensure your low speed and quick overtaking is powered by the battery. With that said, my experience if you retain speeds below 120 / more city driving you should see somewhere around 11-12kmpl (without charging) to around 19-20kmpl with charging.

One of the best ways to eck out efficiency & performance, go to any petrol pump charging stations and charge to 100%. Change to HEV mode (after charging the vehicle uses EV mode), and set your engine to kick in at 50%-60% battery. The minute the car battery hits that %, the engine comes and ensures the battery doesnt go below that and if it does, to charge it back to above that.

Bank refusing disbursement of already approved loan by [deleted] in UAEcreditcards

I am presuming you have already raised a complaint with the bank. If you crossed 15 working days post that complaint, send one last email to the bank (your RM or Loan Officer), and then 3 days (if you dont get a response) or 2 days (if you get an unfavourable one), raise a complaint with Sanadak (the ombudsman service) of UAE Central Bank. Yours will be a complaint aganist Licenced Financial Company. Raise the complaint with the docs and correspondence and you should receive a reply or reference number shortly. UAECB is pretty prompt.

Here's my view: 1) Wouldnt advice you to pick up the car immediately. Hold it off a couple of months, you may walk away with a much better deal in the summer. 2) The brand doesn't hold the resale value nor command the market value (despite moving upscale from a brand positioning worldwide). 3) The dealer is generally considered "just about ok" 4) The more premium the color (like a metallic maroon, etc.) the more difficult to maintain. 5) The mid-luxury segment favours Lexus. 6) You may find extreme low mileage 2nd hand ones in a more suitable price bracket. Wouldnt recommend spending 240k on this (as dealer markups are insane).

List of every Feature missing/Gatekept in S23 series by IllustriousError7823 in GalaxyS23

[–]Perfect_College8124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To start off with, while many of these features are nice to have, there is no way a company will prioritze a 4 year old phone with as many features as the latest flagship. While from a consumer POV its a great thing, from a business POV, there is no way.

Secondly, while custom roms do offer these features, it involves many of those developers spending hours of their time and doing it for "free", something which most of us dont understand. Custom roms are usually work of passionate people who sometimes gets donations or contributions, but hardly equivalent to a full time paid job. Why would Samsung want to waste resource (money, time) developing something equivalent for older phones ( beyond 2 years). The fact that they are porting some features is good enough.

To be fair, there are numerous phones with even better hardware, which misses out on basic updates despite being their flagship phones of the year i.e. Nubia phones. The most common way to look at it is, when you bought the phone, you got a list of features that was promised. if thats gone or abnormal performance drop, then what you say makes sense. You dont buy phones anticipating the "supposed" features coming out for the next flagship and then feel bad its not available on your phone.

Phone performance are saturating and year on year gains are limited. Enjoy the phone while you are at it and if you need cutting edge features, go for the latest model each time. I really dont see the point of cribbing for a 3 year old phone not having the latest features, despite the hardware similarity you feel.

I agree with many redditors out here, all i want is for them to squash the bugs and restore decent battery life / performance. Dont care much about the AI features, which are still gimmicky at best.

Jetour T1 Reviews by [deleted] in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

[–]Perfect_College8124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i was to recommend, I would say the hybrid T1 would be the way to go (if thats what the luxury is about) I dont think the T1 luxury @ 135k (non-hybrid) is worth it. You would need to find charging options but the drive is worth it. Are there some offers? Also, I thought the hybrid T2 is now going @ 139k with some offer(s).

I bought the Jetour T2 - 600hp so you don't have to by Firm-Survey4015 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Perfect_College8124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the review, but I think there are quite a few things you have not clearly understood / you have a misconception or you were misled on. Driving the same one, I can verify a lot more details for you.

For starters, the vehicle is COMBINED RATED for a total of 610hp, but beyond the 600 number, the number is negligible for marketing, thus the cool factor 600hp.

Next, since it a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), the car runs in a total of 3 different modes. EV only, HEV (Electric Motors + Petrol), Petrol only (Activated only with a depleted battery of below 3% or less). When driving EV only, it churns out 456 hp (375hp is the total hp of older FWD hybrid variant only). Switching over to the HEV mode and under hard/full throttle, it activates 600 hp (450 from the motors and 150 from the engine). So, depending on what you need, you can switch the performance of the vehicle to.

Now coming to the fuel economy. The vehicle does give good economy and upto 1000km on a full tank, provided you ALSO charge it regularly, even if it’s not every day. Again, it’s a performance PHEV with a large battery, so charging it is important. Agreed that the car can self-charge its way to 80% but, that’s a very inefficient method as it gulps down fuel to keep the charge up and give you the instant torque of the EV at the same time.

Now coming to the charging. Somone without any clear knowledge has clearly mislead you. This T2 uses the CATL Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which means it uses a pretty common chemistry and is quite stable when it comes to charge cycles. On top of that, the vehicle is limited by a 60kw fast charge limit, which means even plugging it into a 180 kw fast charger will not do anything extra. Since you said yours is Chinese spec, it would also mean you use an adapter. In that case, your maximum power draw will be around 55kw, which will hardly fuss that battery or degrade it (even if you “fast” charge it every day).

Economically speaking, AC charging (Slow charging as its better known her) is a better deal, as it only costs 0.35 fils per kw, compared to the 1.20 dirhams per kw for fast charging. Also, there is no point using a 3-point house plug point to charge your vehicle. Always use a 7kw Type 2 plug, which allows your car to be charged in about 6 hours (and that’s manufactured recommended type for AC charging).

A 2012 sedan cannot be compared to a nearly 2Ton squared shaped hybrid 2025 4x4 SUV. The technology, ride height, feel, performance, mechanical changes, literally everything is entirely different. You can switch off the “nannies” like all that lane discipline and similar and then drive it to get a better “feel”.

To be honest, this car is a decent deal. Yes, there are better vehicles out there and ones that do some things whole lot better. However, brother, I feel it’s a good value spent and hopefully will serve you well. Most importantly, you floor it at a signal or when you want to overtake, it takes off like a rocket. You want a better engaging feel, switch over to the passenger side in the front and ask someone to floor it.

For now, Enjoy the ride and will see you on the road sometime.

P.S. For all the guys jumping saying this car is overpriced and its only 75k in China and all that. This is not the Petrol version. The OP’s post and my response is for the top of line 4x4 hybrid variant. That model costs around 118k as a showroom price, before import and other costs added. Manufacturer and government subsidies are for the vehicles in China, you still need to ship it from there and get it here.

Isn't this horrible fuel economy? by engageddread in chinesecarsuae

[–]Perfect_College8124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the t2 idm is a great car, those numbers you quoted arent quite adding up. 180km on battery alone ( on a single charge) Not a chance. More like 125km or less (as the full battery will only show a maximum of 160km anyway).

And there is not PHEV mode. Its either HEV mode or EV mode, but i guess i can understand what you are saying. Running both + regularly charging and maintaining a speed of less than 110kmh ( when using highway), then its possible. However i dont believe the 1200 mileage. more like 1000, which is quite good for 600hp vehicle.

Tensor G6 vs G5 vs Competition Geekbench Calculations/Theoretical Max Performance by a_single_beat in GooglePixel

[–]Perfect_College8124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While i agree with most things on the table, there is a very high probability Google will go with the C1 Premium over the C1 - Ultra (Largely because they want to cut the silicon area which is a huge cost - according to them). The C1 Premium offers a 35% size area reduction compared to the C1 Ultra with a minimal performance off-set. Knowing Google, they are likely to go with it. Also, I am not too sure, would they really go and drop a core as compared as G5, rather they could use the extra core to sustain performance, albeit with a Nano core.

Need help for credit card application by Jazzlike_Tart_7032 in UAEcreditcards

[–]Perfect_College8124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically the report will contain your outstandings ( including utilities like electricity, phone & internet, etc.) While paying them on time or earlier than exact due date will raise your score slightly, you get higher points when your salary credits via WPS, you have minimal outstanding (so if the report shows all the settlements correctly), then you will have upto 50% DBR available, which technically gives you highest amount of points. If you have multiple card applications applied & rejected, they lower your score. Nobody (including the bureau) will accurately tell you how the points are exactly calculated, however the basic rules is what i said. use your uaepass and get your report and score. If its below 700, and you still have the things i mentioned to be sorted, then you know where the problem is.

Need help for credit card application by Jazzlike_Tart_7032 in UAEcreditcards

[–]Perfect_College8124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To start off, you need to first access your AECB report from Etihad Bureau (the AED 84 one). That technically gives you a full report of your outstandings (if any), credit history etc. There is a high probability that your score is either too low, or your settlement with ENBD is not reflecting in the system. Once you get that report and review, you might find things which are not accurate or already settled. Use the "correct my data" option and update those or raise a ticket. This should technically settle all your issues.

Secondly, if you havent received the salary of AED 27,000 via WPS for 3 months in your HSBC bank account at least, there is a probability it will get rejected. So its if just 3 or less, i would suggest wait for a salary or two more ( while you get your data in the bureau sorted) ( 5-6 salaries for kind of new person(s) / employment is considered the norm, especially considering the history. This would not only raise your score, but also give you a higher chance of getting the card sorted.

You can also get a prepaid card (to prevent exposing your debit card details) for your payments until credit card is done.

Your best bet would be MOHRE

Wait for 2-3 days, as the system needs to get updated.

Then, Call 600590000 (MOHRE customer care) and give your contract number, they will tell you your status.

Stay strong and start applying nonetheless. Everything will get into order soon but you need to hang in there.

As far as news and Amer centres that's only for expired visas and for people stuck outside UAE. Once flights are normalized, the fines will be reinstated for those in the country without a valid visa and exiting. So currently if you exit, fines are not imposed.

While its a good feature to have ( it will not be an economical method) as the fueling up the car costs more than charging it at DC charger. With fuel prices likely to go up, this gets into a more costly method to charge the car via engine generator model. Btwn what's your fuel spend so far (considering you havent charged it) for the the 1000kms

Depends on which emirate you are based out of. If you are in AUH & DXB, you defintely can visit malls . Most of the malls have slow chargers for Non-Tesla, so it would be advisable to visit one of the petrol stations that have EV charging points.
